Spotify joined T1 Home Ground 2025 as the event’s main partner, bringing a new rhythm to the esports experience. Held from July 25 to 27 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, the three-day fan festival marked the first official activation under Spotify’s partnership with the legendary Korean esports organization T1. It blends the worlds of music, gaming, and fan culture. And it was everything K-pop and gaming fans could dream of!
Spotify x T1: When Music Meets Esports at Home Ground 2025
As esports and K-pop continue to dominate global fandoms, Spotify is stepping right into the heart of both.
Spotify turned up the volume at T1 Home Ground 2025, joining as the main partner to bring music-powered fan experiences to the esports arena.
Known for connecting artists and fans through curated, immersive content, Spotify extended its expertise into the gaming world. It gave fans a music-powered experience with their favorite T1 players, including the iconic Faker himself.
“I always listen to music before matches to clear my mind and get into the zone. It was really special to share that side of myself with fans, and I think Spotify helped create a space where we could connect beyond the game.”
Faker, T1 team captain.
From personalized playlists to custom T1 x Spotify jersey patches, the booth was a hotspot for fans to connect with their favorite players — and their music tastes. A highlight? The “My Music MBT1” quiz, matching fans with T1 players based on listening preferences and giving out photo cards and curated songs.
A Festival Where Music Meets Gaming
Spotify’s booth at T1 Home Ground was more than a booth. It brought music and gaming together in a fun, hands-on way. With interactive activities and a fan-first approach, it gave visitors a fresh way to enjoy both worlds.
Here are the top fan-favorite highlights:
My Music MBT1 Test

This in-app quiz matched fans with a T1 player based on their music taste. Think of it as your K-pop idol bias quiz — but for pro gamers. Fans received a custom photo card and exclusive playlist from their matched T1 member.
Fan Message Wall

From heartfelt letters to quirky quiz answers, fan messages were collected and proudly displayed at the booth — then later shared during a Behind-the-Scenes Talk with the team, where T1 players opened up about their favorite songs, listening habits, and how music boosts their performance.
Uniform Upgrade Station

Who doesn’t love a customized jersey? Fans could personalize their T1 uniforms with special Spotify x T1 patches, turning every piece into a statement of fandom pride.
A Cultural Crossover for the Ages
“Music and esports both foster strong, passionate communities. We’re excited to collaborate with T1 to explore new ways of connecting fans and players through music.”
Gautam Talwar, Spotify APAC GM.
With music becoming a key part of gaming culture — from player rituals to game soundtracks — this collaboration hits all the right notes for K-pop stans, esports enthusiasts, and Spotify superfans alike.
