Like a true ARMY, the 4th gen Kpop supergroup leader, Stray Kids Bang Chan, has astonishedly praised BTS, saying that they’re LEGENDS who paved the way and revealing that they are—in fact—his BIGGEST role model.

On January 8, during the same episode where he wore BLACKPINK Lisa’s gift, Stray Kids Bang Chan revealed his astonishment to the millennial King of Pop, BTS. In the video, Stray Kids Bang Chan highly praised BTS, saying they have paved the way.

Bang Chan about BTS: “They’re LEGENDS!”

During VLIVE Chan’s Room Episode 140, the 4th gen Kpop supergroup leader, Stray Kids Bang Chan, gathered various song recommendations from his fans. Among all the recommended songs, Stray Kids Bang Chan chose “Mikrokosmos” by BTS. Then, as he enjoyed the music, Bang Chan praised that “Mikrokosmos” was such a good song.

However, he didn’t just stop with praising the song. Once the fans started reacting with the purple heart emoticons, Bang Chan noticed them immediately. Then, he continued with the revelation of how much he respects BTS. Stray Kids Bang Chan then praised BTS, and he believed that BTS are the legends who have paved the way.

Stray Kids Bang Chan Considers a BTS Member His BIGGEST Role Model: Kim Namjoon (RM)

On top of everything, this is NOT the first time Stray Kids Bang Chan praised BTS like a true ARMY. Previously in September 2020, Stray Kids Bang Chan also revealed that he considered one of BTS members as his BIGGEST role model: Kim Namjoon (RM).

During his VLIVE Chan’s Room Episode 73, Stray Kids Bang Chan praised BTS Kim Namjoon (RM) and said RM was one of the most outstanding leaders. That is why Stray Kids Bang Chan considered him among his BIGGEST role model.

“RM sunbaenim—he’s known to be one of the best leaders. I’d like to put him as one of my biggest role models as well. I think he’s just one of the most, coolest guys out there. He’s REALLY smart as well!

I may not be, but HE is one of the best leaders out there. So please, put that in mind!”

Jungkook’s “Euphoria”: The MOST Meaningful Song

During yet another VLIVE Chan’s Room, Stray Kids Bang Chan discussed about “Euphoria” by BTS Jungkook. In the video, he stated that “Euphoria” was the song that truly gave him strength. That is why when he was feeling discouraged or when things didn’t go as he had planned, Stray Kids Bang Chan would listen to BTS Jungkook’s “Euphoria”. Then, he would feel so much better.

“It’s BTS sunbaenim ‘Euphoria’. First, the lyrics are just so beautiful. I think it’s a song that really, REALLY gives me strength. The word ‘Euphoria’ is—whenever you listen—it makes you feel really encouraged. It’s a word that motivates you, and when you listen to the song, it gives you lots of energy.

So, when I’m working—or if things don’t go the way I had imagined, I would listen to this song, and I’d feel very, VERY good. It makes me feel so much better.

Last but not least, just like a true ARMY, Stray Kids Bang Chan was also fanboying over BTS Jungkook and his fantastic vocal in “Euphoria”.

“I love Jungkook sunbaenim’s vocal in this song. I’m a BIG fan. Very, very, VERY big fan. I think he’s incredible! And I think he’s such an amazing person. This [Euphoria] is a great song, which is why I recommend it for you.”
