The pride of Kpop 4th generation Stray Kids will soon return with an upcoming 2023 comeback album, but will they be able to handle a more hectic schedule? Continue reading for a more detailed discussion.
Stray Kids to Reportedly Release a 2023 Comeback Album in June
Kpop 4th gen pride and global phenomenon Stray Kids is gearing up for an exciting 2023 comeback amidst their busy schedule!
SPOTV News exclusive report on April 24 revealed that Kpop 4th gen boy group Stray Kids is preparing for a 2023 comeback. And the report also mentioned that the group would release their first 2023 official album in June.
Last month, JYP Entertainment confirmed that Stray Kids was already preparing for their upcoming 2023 comeback album. However, the company has yet announced the exact release date.
“Stray Kids is preparing for a comeback. We will announce the release date later.”
JYP Entertainment.
Stray Kids upcoming 2023 comeback album and its promotion schedule are happening only 8 months since they released MAXIDENT mini album in October last year. According to JYP Entertainment, the group has also completed filming their new music video (MV) for the upcoming songs.
As the premier benchmark for 4th generation Kpop groups, Stray Kids has shown massive growth in only 5 years since their debut. With their previous comeback album, MAXIDENT, Stray Kids had broken numerous records, including ‘Triple Million Seller’ and topping multiple Billboard charts.
That is why their comeback production is one of the most highly-anticipated releases among Kpop enthusiasts.
Can the Members Fully Handle the Hectic Schedule?
With the skyrocketing reputation of Stray Kids comes a hectic schedule that can be overwhelming for the members. That is why questions began emerging about whether the group would be able to fully handle such a tight schedule and activities with a healthy mind and body.
After all, Stray Kids had just completed their 2nd World Tour, MANIAC, on April 2. During the world tour, the group had to endure massive pressure and fatigue after performing 42 concerts across 18 regions worldwide. They even became the 2nd Kpop group to complete a US stadium scale performance.
Since then, Stray Kids has never fully had a break from their schedule. They still had to film additional content and barely got enough rest.
Indeed, almost all Stray Kids members are trained professionals, highly competitive, and extremely hardworking. Therefore, while it is almost certain that they can handle anything, hopefully, the members won’t push themselves too hard.
After all, Stray Kids has long been subjected to extreme schedules and activities, including last year when they had to enter the ISAC competition even amidst those unbelievably tight schedules. Some members, including Bang Chan, Hyunjin, and Felix, even had to endure the schedules while suffering from injuries. That is why fans complained with #LetStrayKidsRest at the time.
let stray kids fucking rest. i can’t believe this is happening! i wouldn’t wonder if one of them passes out on stage. i’m so mad rn. they just finished the first half of the world tour had to go to isaac and now kcon i hope the comeback is not soon. #LetStrayKidsRest pic.twitter.com/eA7ZvpsEQV
