On March 30 midnight KST, TEMPEST announced their upcoming comeback date. In the announcement poster, the septet warn all Kpop fans worldwide that it is The Calm Before The Storm. The dangerous comeback is set to release on April 17 at 6 PM KST.
High Expectations on TEMPEST Comeback
Fans put high expectations to this comeback since TEMPEST has shown an excellent progress as a 4th gen Kpop boy group within a year.
Bringing Bad News as their debut album title track, Lew, Hyeongseop, Hwarang, Hanbin, Hyuk, Eunchan, and Taerae injected a strong energy to the music industry. Their debut album, It’s ME, It’s WE, which was released on March 2, 2022, had around 75,000 album sales in the first week of release.
November last year, the septet released their third mini-album ON and ON which features Dragon as the title track. The album sales exceeded 100,000 copies only within a week since its release and became TEMPEST’s best-selling album in first-week sales.
Therefore, TEMPEST upcoming comeback is expected to bring a dangerous strong storm, just like the group’s name signified. We definitely cannot ignore the strong desire of TEMPEST to dominate the Kpop industry.
