JYP Entertainment is currently under fire for making Stray Kids join as one of the Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 lineup idols. After completing their tour, JYP Entertainment packed Stray Kids members schedule with numerous activities, including participating in Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022. Check out why fans criticized JYP Entertainment for making such decisions.
Stray Kids is Among Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 Lineup Despite Their Recent World Tour – Fans Are Upset!
4th gen Kpop leader and representative, Stray Kids, has confirmed to be part of the lineup for Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022. Despite their schedule for the 2022 World Tour, JYP Entertainment decided to make Stray Kids demonstrate their athletic skills in one of the biggest events in the Kpop industry.
On July 24, Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 announced its first lineup for this year’s event. Among the prominent participants joining the competition, Stray Kids has also confirmed to be part of the lineup idols for ISAC 2022 despite having just completed their world tour.
The CRUCIAL Reasons Why Fans Are Upset about Stray Kids Members Joining Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022
Following the reports that Stray Kids will be a part of the Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 lineup, fans immediately became upset. They filled Twitter’s timeline with the hashtag #LetStrayKidsRest, especially for the following MAIN reasons.
1. Stray Kids Will Complete Their 2022 World Tour Only 3 Days Before ISAC 2022 Filming
The first reason fans are against Stray Kids joining Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 lineup is because of their world tour.
Stray Kids is currently traveling for their gigantic “MANIAC” World Tour 2022. As previously discussed in the schedule, Stray Kids will only have concluded their 2022 world tour on July 27. It means that all Stray Kids members only have 2 days to rest before filming ISAC 2022 on July 30.
We all know how much energy idols pour into their concerts. Especially Stray Kids, who are prominent with the nickname “Performance Kings”. And they have been working on this tour for about 3 months with minimum rest.
That is why making them participate in a prominent sports competition 2 days after completing 2022 tour means that Stray Kids has to go all out once again with their bodies. And it will be very much risky for their health.
2. Stray Kids Schedule is FULLY PACKED Even Without ISAC 2022
Secondly, as the most prominent 4th gen group with skyrocketing achievement and popularity, Stray Kids schedule is already packed with various programs they presented earlier this year during Step Out 2022.
Even without joining Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 lineup, Stray Kids will have their August schedule fully packed with no rest time.
Along with various events in August, Stray Kids will reportedly make another promised comeback in September. It means that while executing all the scheduled activities, Stray Kids members must also work on their comeback album. And that includes vocal training, choreography practice, and production-recording processes.
Therefore, fans criticized JYP Entertainment for making Stray Kids join Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 lineup. Does JYP Entertainment want to turn Stray Kids members into superhumans?
3. Some Stray Kids Members Injured and Are in Recovery
On top of everything, what fans are concerned the most is that some Stray Kids members are still recovering from their previous injuries.
Earlier this year, Stray Kids Felix suffered from a back injury, making him unable to fully perform for several months. Today, even when Felix was seen dancing his heart out on stage, he is actually still recovering from the injury.
Next, Stray Kids main dancer and visual, Hwang Hyunjin, also suffered from a painful broken finger. Even though he managed to hide his pain and perform magnificently during the tour, Hyunjin’s injury is still fresh and in need of complete recovery.
Moreover, Stray Kids genius leader Bang Chan is also recovering from his wrist injury. At the same time, the remaining Stray Kids members are exhausted that they were seen wearing pain-relief patches during the “MANIAC” world tour 2022.
If they still have to join Idol Star Athletics Championship (ISAC) 2022 lineup in this state, the health of Stray Kids members is dangerously at risk.
4. Most Stray Kids Members Are Competitive and Extremely Hardworking!
Finally, fans realized that most Stray Kids members are highly competitive and extremely hardworking. Therefore, it will never be possible if they join the ISAC 2022 simply for fun and formality.
They will go all out. With high conquering spirit and a do-or-die mindset.
While this may be exemplary in normal conditions, under current circumstances, it will only expose Stray Kids members health to more risks and danger.
To prove how much joining ISAC 2022 lineup in the current condition is dangerous to Stray Kids members health, fans brought back moments from ISAC 2019. At the time, Stray Kids members were found asleep throughout the broadcast due to their fatigue from working on the “Levanter” album.
Imagine what will happen if they still insist on joining ISAC 2022 in this state.
Fans Demand JYP Entertainment to #LetStrayKidsRest
Finally, fans highly demand JYP Entertainment let Stray Kids members rest before continuing their schedule. They also asked the company to reconsider their decisions to force the kids to participate in highly competitive sports when they had just completed their world tour and still have packed schedules ahead of them.
Indeed, some of the fans are missing exciting moments of ISAC from Stray Kids. They know that Stray Kids members will have tremendous fun during the event. However, that is only under normal healthy circumstances. Having Stray Kids members participate in this condition is NOT worth the risk.
We all know that they celebrate the Stay WEEK, not only one day. Also there will be so many things that they will shoot for September cb, choreos to learn, they need to record the songs AND there are some other things left from the Step Out 2022… #LetStrayKidsRest pic.twitter.com/v7TDTbIm9k

chan can be really competitive with sports, we know he will go all out as always but I hope he takes care of himself first. his wrist has been hurt for so long + he wore a knee brace recently too.. though he always seems to enjoy playing sports and winning so I hope he has fun 🥺
