When a question came up about SNSD YoonA and Lee Jong Suk famous group selfie together, the idol actress stated that it was a selfie they took around 10 years ago, when “Oh!” was airing. Then, SNSD YoonA revealed the true story of her relationship at the time that Lee Jong Suk was a friend she knew. According to YoonA, she didn’t get the chance to get closer to him at that moment.

Since it had been a long time since the couple last met at the time, YoonA didn’t know how to reply even when she was happy with the compliment. Besides, she also believed that since they were both nervous during the award ceremony. That is why she thought Lee Jong Suk compliment was just another way of saying hello.

“I said ‘Congratulations!’ and he said, ‘You’re beautiful.’ It was a long time not seeing each other in forever. So while I was thankful he called me beautiful, I didn’t know how to reply because I congratulated him, and then he said I was beautiful.

We were both quite nervous because it was an award ceremony and we met in a long time, so he just said it as another way of saying hello.”

Finally, when discussing her new drama, “Big Mouse”, SNSD YoonA mentioned that she would be playing a newlywed couple with Lee Jong Suk. She will portray a character who strives to help prove her husband’s innocence, and she asked the viewers to look forward to the drama.
