More and more rookie idols taking on hiatus. It is still the first month of 2023, but we have already got the unpleasant official announcement that two rookies, TNX Junhyeok and LAPILLUS Chanty have to take hiatus. Their agencies decided to halt their scheduled-activities due to health issues. Is it just the weather or they work too hard?
TNX Junhyeok and LAPILLUS Chanty Take Hiatus
On January 11, it was announced that TNX Junhyeok would halt activities due to exhaustion and anxiety. P Nation officially informed fans that the 18-year-old singer’s stamina had decreased. Therefore, as medical professionals advised, it is best for Junhyeok to have sufficient rest. Meanwhile, TNX will promote as a five-member group for the time being.
The agency also mentioned that they would support Junhyeok to recover fully and return in good health.
“We will also do our best to make sure that Junhyeok recovers quickly and returns in good health as soon as possible.”

One day after, on January 12, MLD Entertainment announced that LAPILLUS member, Chanty, would be absent from activities with the group. Fans expected her to return in good health within a few days. But, unfortunately, under the judgment that she needs more time to recover, Chanty would take a longer break.
Previously on December 2022, another LAPILLUS member, Bessie, also took a hiatus due to health issues. She received a prescription from a medical professional who advised her to rest adequately. Fortunately, she is back with the group now.
However, Chanty planned to suspend her schedule and focus on recovering her health. Hence, LAPILLUS will continue as a five-member group again for the time being.
