The new Korean drama “To the Moon” (Korean: 달까지 가자) portrays the real struggles that many face today—unstable jobs, low income, and financial stress. But it’s not just about hardship. It’s about friendship, hope, and daring to dream big. The story is fresh because it also mixes in the exciting, sometimes tricky world of cryptocurrency investments, which is a new theme in K-dramas. The blend of office comedy, romance, and social reality makes “To the Moon” a powerful, relatable watch.

Storyline

“To the Moon” follows three women with small incomes and big hopes.

Jung Da Hae works in marketing and feels stuck in a dull job with zero security. Kang Eun Sang is in management support and keeps thinking of ways to earn money because of her tough past. Kim Ji Song handles accounting, living by the motto to spend money wisely.

They are all non-regular workers, meaning their jobs are unstable.

Together, these women decide to invest in cryptocurrencies. Through their ups and downs in trading and workplace challenges, they find friendship and strength.

A turning point comes when Ham Ji Woo, a kind and successful second-generation chaebol, enters their lives. Meeting Da Hae, he rediscovers his own lost dreams, adding warmth and a touch of romance to the tale.
