The highly anticipated top 100 individual Kpop idol brand reputation rankings for September 2024 have been unveiled! This month, the rankings are dominated by talented female idols, with Karina from the Kpop girl group aespa maintaining the lead. September 2024 Top Individual Kpop Idol Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 119,640,245 pieces of personal brand big data of 1,730 idols from August 26 to September 26, 2024. However, compared to the 106,693,691 individual brand big data in August, the number of individual brand data increased by 12.13%.
Using this latest personal brand big data, they conducted consumer behavior analysis to derive the brand reputation index of the idols. The analysis assessed four vital factors: participation index, media index, communication index, and community index for individual idol brands.
As a result, the top 5 individual Kpop idols were dominated by female artists. Karina from aespa continued to lead the rankings at No. 1 for two consecutive months. Following her, Jang Won Young from IVE also maintained a strong position at No. 2. Girls’ Generation Taeyeon and aespa Winter rose to positions No. 3 and No. 4, respectively. Finally, An Yu Jin from IVE concluded the top five this month.

1. aespa Karina
Besides topping the brand reputation rankings for Kpop girl group members in September 2024, Karina from aespa also led the brand reputation rankings for individual idols for two consecutive months. The charismatic female idol achieved a brand reputation index of 3,745,252. Compared to her index of 3,731,337 in August, this represents a slight increase of 0.37 percent. Her impressive scores across various indexes are as follows:
- Participation Index: 265,989
- Media Index: 310,246
- Communication Index: 1,666,394
- Community Index: 1,502,623
In the link analysis, the institute found “attractive,” “participating,” and “proving” to be the highest-scoring terms related to the singer. They also identified “Supernova,” “Milan,” and “Synchro U” as the most popular keywords in the keyword analysis. Additionally, Karina earned an impressive positive score of 92.46 percent in the positive-negative ratio analysis, further solidifying her popularity among fans and the public.
2. IVE Jang Won Young
Jang Won Young from IVE maintained her position in second place. However, her brand reputation index experienced a slight decrease of 4.57 percent. The score fell from 3,442,962 in August to 3,285,648 in September. Despite this minor decrease, she still boasts impressive scores across various indexes:

- Media Index: 272,559
- Communication Index: 1,499,814
- Community Index: 1,299,301
3. Girls’ Generation Taeyeon
Taeyeon from Girls’ Generation rose to the third position with a brand reputation index of 3,069,782 this September. Despite a slight decline of 0.58% from her August index of 3,087,642, the talented singer continues to maintain a strong presence in the rankings. Her impressive scores across various indexes are as follows:
- Participation index: 126,204
- Media index: 330,784
- Communication index: 1,205,306
- Community index: 1,407,489
4. aespa Winter
Winter from aespa soared to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,993,590 this month. Her brand reputation index impressively rose by 36.76 percent from 2,188,874 in August, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 174,600
- Media Index: 209,821
- Communication Index: 1,306,905
- Community Index: 1,302,264
5. IVE An Yu Jin
An Yu Jin from IVE secured fifth place with a brand reputation index of 2,719,596 this month. Compared to her brand reputation index of 2,302,093 in August, it rose by 18.14 percent, with the following indexes:
