On January 21, the Korean Business Research Institute published January most popular Korean singers. So, let’s take a look at the top 100 Korean singer brand reputation rankings in January 2023 below.

Top 5 Most Popular Korean Singers

The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed 134,800,244 Korean singer brand big data taken from December 21, 2022, to January 21, 2023. Compared to 146,386,239 singer brand big data in December 2022, it decreased by 7.91 percent. As a result, the rookie group NewJeans ranked first, followed by Lim Young Woong, BTS, BLACKPINK, and IU in the top 5 list, respectively.

​The ADOR’s rookie girl group NewJeans rose to first place with a brand value of 11,901,458 this month. The group’s brand value increased by 26.54 percent since last month.

Meanwhile, Korean trot singer Lim Young Woong has remained in second place since November 2022, with a brand value of 9,062,863 this month.

HYBE’s Kpop boy group BTS dropped to third place with a brand value of 6,980,796, followed by Kpop girl group BLACKPINK, which held on to their position at fourth place with a brand value of 5,874,066 since December 2022. Finally, IU rounded out the top five list with a brand value of 5,867,068, marking a 26.35 percent increase since last month.
