On June 23, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the top 100 list of the most popular singers in Korea for this month. Keep reading to discover the June 2023 Korean singer brand reputation rankings, showcasing the current popular male, female, idol, and group singers in South Korea.
BTS Leads the Top 100 Korean Singer Brand Reputation Rankings in June 2023
The brand reputation rankings for Korean singers in June 2023 were determined by analyzing media coverage, consumer participation, communication, and community awareness values. This analysis utilized big data collected from May 24 to June 24, 2023. In June, singer brand data increased by 11.95 percent, reaching 138,818,688 compared to 123,996,929 in May.
As a result, the global Kpop group BTS secured the top spot on the list, with Lim Young Woong, NewJeans, BLACKPINK, and Kang Daniel rounding out the top five most popular Korean singers in June 2023.
Top 5 Korean Singers
Kpop boy group BTS, which engaged with global fans through the group’s 10th-anniversary festival, secured 1st place with a brand value of 11,654,085. Their brand value impressively rose by 43.06 percent from 8,146,544 in May.
Following closely in 2nd place is Lim Young Woong, a famous trot singer in South Korea, known for his positive influence on fandom. He achieved a brand value of 9,976,043 this month, marking a slight increase of 6.77 percent from 9,343,800 in May.
Next, the rookie group NewJeans, renowned for their vibrant hip culture, claimed 3rd place with a brand value of 5,062,002. However, the group experienced a 2.22 percent decrease from 5,177,062 in May.
Kpop girl group BLACKPINK, known for their global activities and luxury brand image, secured 4th place. Their brand value declined by 9.30 percent from 5,267,916 in May to 4,777,910 in June.
Completing the top five is Kang Daniel, a singer who has been garnering consumer attention with new music releases, occupying 5th place. His brand value has skyrocketed by 231.16 percent, soaring from 1,435,096 in May to 4,752,487.
