ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo, BTS’ Jungkook, BTS’ Jimin, Wanna One’s Ong Seung Wu, and V from BTS dominated the top five most popular individual boy group members this month. December 2023 Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute collected and analyzed boy group member popularity for December 2023. They collected 68,281,225 pieces of big brand data on 716 boy group individuals from November 16, 2023, to December 16, 2023, and analyzed consumers’ behaviors on boy group individual brands. The brand reputation index was analyzed using the participation, media, communication, and community indexes created through behavioral analysis. Compared to 79,023,431 boy group brand big data last November, it decreased by 13.59%.

Top 5 Individual Kpop Boy Group Members
1. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
In December 2023, Cha Eun Woo topped boy group members’ brand reputation rankings. In the link analysis, his popular related terms included “handsome, warm, and cool.” Meanwhile, “A Good Day To Be A Dog,” “Park Gyu-young,” and “genius face” became his most popular keywords in the keyword analysis. The idol actor achieved a brand reputation index of 3,189,855 based on the following analysis results:

- Media Index: 524,758
- Communication Index: 962,820
- Community Index: 707,493
Compared to his brand reputation index of 4,255,251 in November, there was a decrease of 25.04%.
2. BTS Jungkook
Jungkook from BTS, who recently released a performance teaser video for “Standing Next to You – Usher Remix” with Usher, dropped to the second position. The youngest member of BTS achieved a brand reputation index of 2,940,286 based on the following analysis results:

Compared to his brand reputation index of 6,195,765 in November, there was a decrease of 52.54%.
3. BTS Jimin
Jimin from BTS was recently named the 3rd Korean soloist in Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) history to be awarded platinum in the U.S., with his solo debut single “Like Crazy” ranking third. The singer, known for his pure tenor vocal range, achieved a brand reputation index of 2,748,418 based on the following analysis results:

- Media Index: 453,905
- Communication Index: 922,900
- Community Index: 892,641
Compared to his brand reputation index of 4,518,744 in November, it dropped by 39.18%.
4. Wanna One Ong Seong Wu
Ong Seon Wu from Wanna One, who captivated Kdrama fans with his acting in “Strong Girl Nam-soon,” climbed to the fourth position. He achieved a brand reputation index of 2,069,242 based on the analysis results:

Compared to the brand reputation index of 2,970,955 in November, it fell by 30.35%.
5. BTS V
