On July 20, the Korean Business Research Institute unveiled the latest rankings of the most popular male idols from Kpop boy groups. Let’s discover which Kpop male idols have secured spots in the top 100 individual Kpop boy group member brand reputation rankings for July 2024.
July 2024 Top Individual Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute conducted a big data analysis of individual brand reputations for boy group members from June 20 to July 20, 2024. During this period, they extracted 68,550,417 data pieces from 730 individual boy group members. They used this data to evaluate the brand reputation index based on consumer behavior towards each member’s brand. Interestingly, there was a 6.62% increase in data compared to the 64,291,771 pieces from last June.
According to the big data analysis of individual brand reputation for Kpop male group members in July 2024, BTS Jin, ASTRO Cha Eunwoo, Super Junior Kyuhyun, RIIZE Wonbin, and BTS Jimin dominated the top five list. Below, you can explore the brand reputation rankings for the top 30 Kpop male idols for May, June, and July 2024.
TOP 5
1. BTS Jin
Jim from BTS, who shone as a torchbearer at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games torch relay, maintained his top position. Although the singer remained at the top, his brand reputation index experienced a 14.18% decline from 3,835,261 in June to 3,291,366 in July, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 274,425
- Media Index: 863,147
- Communication Index: 706,201
- Community Index: 1,447,592
Furthermore, the institute also conducted a more comprehensive analysis of Jin’s brand. They identified “participate,” “torch-bearing,” and “cheer” as Jin’s most popular related terms through link analysis. Additionally, they discovered “torch relay,” “Paris Olympics,” and “ARMY” as the singer’s popular keywords in keyword analysis. BTS Jin received a positive score of 93.58% in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. ASTRO Cha Eun Woo
Cha Eun Woo from ASTRO, who recently made a buzz with his performance at the 2024 Waterbomb Festival, also held the second spot. Like BTS Jin, his brand reputation fell by 31.85%, from 3,604,710 in June to 2,456,503 in July, with the following indexes:

- Media Index: 515,578
- Communication Index: 676,510
- Community Index: 593,047
3. Super Junior Kyuhyun
Super Junior Kyuhyun, who recently returned to MBC’s “Home Alone,” soared to the third position this July. The singer’s brand reputation skyrocketed by 161.45%, from 796,036 in June to 2,081,232 in July, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 408,095
- Media Index: 583,848
- Communication Index: 616,221
- Community Index: 473,068
4. RIIZE Wonbin
Wonbin from RIIZE, who participated in the “Cosmic Love” dance challenge with Irene from Red Velvet, climbed to the fourth position. The rookie idol’s brand reputation index rose by 53.46%, climbing from 1,326,201 in June to 2,035,151, with the following indexes:

- Community Index: 579,138
5. BTS Jimin
Jimin from BTS, who recently released his second solo album “MUSE” and “WHO” MV, dropped from third to fifth place this month. His brand reputation index showed a 17.58% decrease from 2,258,664 in June to 1,861,564, with the following indexes:
