TOP 100 Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings in October 2024

On October 18, the Korean Business Research Institute released the top 100 male Kpop idols for this month. Find the list of the top 100 individual Kpop boy group member brand reputation rankings below!

October 2024: Top 100 Individual Kpop Boy Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute collected 70,976,778 indices of brand big data of 730 personal boy group members from September 19 to October 19, 2024. Compared to the brand big data of individual Kpop male idols, which was 54,936,729 in September, this number increased by 29.20 percent.

Furthermore, the institute used the latest brand big data to perform a consumer behavior analysis. This analysis measured the participation, media, communication, and community indexes to determine the members’ latest brand reputation index. Finally, they set the brand reputation indexes in order to create the newest ranking.

According to the result, Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO, Wanna One Kang Daniel of Wanna One, Jin of BTS, Jimin of BTS, and Baekhyun of EXO dominated the top five male Kpop idols in October 2024.

Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO, who caught attention at the YSL Paris Fashion Week 2024, claimed the first position this month. Based on the analysis, the multitalented star’s brand reputation index increased by 65.88 percent. It increased from 2,629,693 in September to 4,362,188 in October, with the following breakdown:

• Participation Index: 830,623
• Media Index: 808,962
• Communication Index: 1,106,845
• Community Index: 1,615,758

Furthermore, in link analysis, the phrases “advertising model,” “chiseled,” and “face genius,” were identified as Cha Eun Woo’s most popular related terms. Meanwhile, in keyword analysis, the institute identified “reveal,” “selected,”and “flawless,” as Cha Eun Woo’s top keywords. Finally, Cha Eun Woo achieved a positive score of 92.87 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.

2. Wanna One Kang Daniel

Climbed to the second position on the list was Kang Daniel. The 28-year-old singer, who recently released a new single, “Electric Shock,” achieved a staggering brand reputation index of 156.08 percent this month. It experienced an increase from 1,594,520 in September to 4,083,183 in October. Based on the analysis, here’s the breakdown indexes:

• Participation Index: 880,751
• Media Index: 729,535
• Communication Index: 1,089,888
• Community Index: 1,383,009

​3. BTS Jin

Jin of BTS, who is set to release his highly-anticipated first solo album, “Happy,” which will include a track featuring Wendy from Red Velvet, secured the third position this month. Despite his drop in ranking, the worldwide handsome idol achieved an impressive 18.29 percent increase in his brand reputation index. It rose from 2,949,770 in September to 3,489,228 in October, with the following breakdown:

• Participation Index: 224,146
• Media Index: 219,013
• Communication Index: 1,591,775
• Community Index: 1,454,294

4. BTS Jimin

Jimin from BTS, who recently earned a nomination at the 2024 MTV EMA for the Best Kpop award, remained in fourth place on the October rankings. His brand reputation index experienced an outstanding rise of 91.77 percent, increasing from 1,465,040 in September to 2,809,455 in October. Based on the analysis result, here is the breakdown:

• Participation Index: 262,431
• Media Index: 259,404
• Communication Index: 903,662
• Community Index: 1,383,957

5. EXO Baekhyun

Baekhyun from EXO, who recently released his 4th mini album “Hello, World” with lead track “Pineapple Slice” MV, rose to the fifth position on the list. The singer’s brand reputation index saw a remarkable increase of 145.89 percent, soaring from 792,346 in September to 1,948,310 in October. Here is the following breakdown:
