TOP 100 Kpop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings in February 2024

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed the top 100 brand reputation rankings of individual Kpop female group members for January 2024. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, TWICE’s Jihyo, NewJeans’ Hanni, and BLACKPINK’s Jisoo secured the top five spots on the list. Explore the latest list of the top 100 Kpop girl group member brand reputation rankings in February 2024.

February 2024 Top Individual Kpop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings

From January 18 to February 18, the Institute collected data from 655 Kpop members from different groups, totaling 81,148,331 pieces. The Institute analyzed the brand reputation index using engagement, media, communication, and community indices. However, the data decreased by 6.28% from the previous Kpop girl group members’ extensive data in January, which was 86,587,833.

Moreover, the Institute comprehensively analyzed how people’s online behavior influences brand reputation indexes. The analysis assessed individual K-pop members’ public image, measuring positivity, media allure, consumer focus, and communication extent, including brand influence and value evaluations.

Here are the top 30 popular Kpop female idols from various groups from December 2023 to February 2024:

TOP 5 Female Idols

1. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon

Taeyeon, who has successfully dominated the music charts with her hit song “To. X,” topped the brand reputation rankings for Kpop female group members in February 2024. The Institute analyzed her data and found the following scores:

• Participation Index: 623,996
• Media Index: 578,780
• Communication Index: 713,733
• Community Index: 555,224

As a result, she achieved a brand reputation index of 2,471,734 this month. Yet, it declined by 21.16% from the brand reputation score of 3,135,044 in January. 

After conducting a comprehensive analysis, the Institute discovered the popular terms related to the singer were “long-running,” “lovely,” and “cheer on.” Meanwhile, the most popular keywords related to her were “To. X,” “Dream,” and “digital chart queen.” Moreover, Taeyeon received a high positivity score of 92.49% in the positivity-negativity analysis.

2. BLACKPINK Jennie

Jennie from the Kpop girl group BLACKPINK, who recently made Billboard history on the Pop Radio Chart with her solo single “One of the Girls,” dropped to the second position this month. The Institute analyzed her data and found the following scores:

• Participation Index 155,883 
• Media Index 595,803 
• Communication Index 789,787 
• Community Index 832,849

The singer’s brand reputation index experienced a decline of 30.00%. from 3,392,111 in January, to 2,374,322in February.

3. TWICE Jihyo

Jihyo from Kpop girl group TWICE, who recently won the Dabeme Music Awards 2024 for Female Artist of the Year, took the third spot this month. The Institute analyzed her data and found the following scores:

• Participation Index 226,609
• Media Index 255,502
• Communication Index 424,660
• Community Index 834,909

Accordingly, her brand reputation index rose 50.20%. this month, from 1,159,589 in January to 1,741,680 in February.

4. New Jeans Hanni

Hanni, a rising singer from New Jeans, who gained attention with her cover of Tyla’s song “Truth or Dare,” dropped to the fourth position this month. The Institute disclosed her indices after the analysis:

• Participation Index 444,669 
• Media Index 413,004 
• Communication Index 477,484 
• Community Index 403,052 

Hanni’s overall brand reputation index decreased by 31.55%, declining from 2,539,275 in January to 1,738,209 in February 2024.

5. BLACKPINK Jisoo

Jisoo from the group BLACKPINK, currently filming the upcoming new movie “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint,” remained in fifth place this month. The analysis revealed the following scores for Jisoo:

• Participation Index 161,812 
• Media Index 185,908 
• Communication Index 597,204 
• Community Index 783,116 

Consequently, Jisoo’s brand reputation index decreased by 28.90% this month. Her brand reputation score declined from 2,430,595 in January to 1,728,040 in February.
