The Korean Business Research Institute has unveiled the top 100 female Kpop idols for June 2024. IVE’s member, Jang Won Young, maintained her position as the most popular female Kpop idol for the second consecutive month. June 2024 Top Individual Kpop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute conducted a big data analysis of individual brand reputations of girl group members from May 16 to June 16, 2024. The institute gathered 88,548,756 data points from 675 members of K-pop female idol groups. They assessed the members’ brand reputation index by analyzing consumer behavior across four key indexes: participation, media, communication, and community indexes. Compared to the previous month, data on individual girl group members’ brand reputations showed a decline of 27.19% from 121,616,805 data points.
In the analysis, Jang Won Young, An Yu Jin, Karina, Wonhee, and Jennie emerged as the top-ranking female idols in June 2024. Here are the 30 most popular female Kpop idols for April, May, and June 2024.

1. IVE Jang Won Young
Jang Won Young from IVE, the new face of Kerastase, maintained her top spot in the girl group member rankings for June 2024. The institute conducted a detailed analysis revealing the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 1,476,859
- Media Index: 887,921
- Communication Index: 1,251,796
- Community Index: 2,145,145
Despite retaining the top position, her brand reputation index experienced a 29.27% decrease, falling from 8,145,942 in May to 5,761,721 in June.
In the link analysis, the institute discovered that ‘lovely,’ ‘loved,’ and ‘solid’ were popular terms associated with the idol. Additionally, ‘IVE,’ ‘Wonyoung-esque accident,’ and ‘Jang Da Ah’ were identified as popular keywords related to the idol. Furthermore, in the positivity and negativity analysis, Jang Won Young received a high positive score of 90.54%, indicating a strong positive public sentiment towards her.
2. IVE An Yu Jin
An Yu Jin from IVE maintained a strong position close to Jang Won Young, securing the second spot in the rankings. The analysis revealed that An Yu Jin achieved the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 1,178,855
- Media Index: 857,304
- Communication Index: 1,134,352
- Community Index: 1,641,097
As a result, the female idol, who recently appeared as one of the judges on “The Magic Star” variety show, attained a brand reputation index of 4,811,607. This figure represents a decrease of 6.58% compared to May, where the index stood at 5,150,510.
3. aespa Karina
Karina, a member of the Kpop girl group aespa, made her debut on the highly anticipated Korean variety show “Agents of Mystery” in June. She quickly reached the third position in the rankings, highlighting her increasing influence and popularity in the industry. Based on the analysis, she acquired the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 321,538
- Media Index: 304,037
- Communication Index: 1,059,626
- Community Index: 1,111,921
As a result, the female idol achieved a brand reputation index of 2,797,122 in the June rankings. This figure represents an 18.45% increase compared to the brand reputation index of 2,361,362 in May.
4. ILLIT Wonhee
Wonhee from ILLIT, who recently starred in her first commercial film for Pocari Sweat, slipped to the fourth position in the June rankings with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 720,437
- Media Index: 262,343
- Communication Index: 783,832
- Community Index: 800,097
As a result, the rookie idol garnered a brand reputation index of 2,566,708. This number represents a 42.59% decline compared to the brand reputation index of 4,471,129 in May.
5. BLACKPINK Jennie
Jennie from BLACKPINK, who recently graced the runway at the Jacquesmus “La Casa” fashion show, secured the fifth position. The “Solo” singer achieved the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 327,735
- Media Index: 510,298
- Communication Index: 695,028
- Community Index: 765,003
As a result, her brand reputation index fell by 38.13%, dropping from 3,714,551 in May to 2,298,064 in June.
