Top 100 Songs with Most Likes in 2021 According to Melon – IU and NCT DREAM Dominate!

South Korea’s largest music streaming service, Melon, has shared the top 100 songs that received the most likes in 2021. Remarkably, nine out of 10 IU’s songs from her latest album, ‘LILAC,’ are on the list. Not only that, the 10 NCT DREAM’s songs from their first studio album ‘Hot Sauce’ dominate the list as well.

Here Are Top 10 Songs with Most Likes in 2021 (per November 17)

1. IU – Celebrity

The pre-release track of IU’s fifth Korean-language studio album, ‘LILAC,’ leads the list on #1 song with the most likes in 2021. As soon as the song was released on January 27, 2021, it quickly blasted to the top of Melon’s 24Hits!

2. Brave Girls – Rollin’

Released on March 7, 2017, the track by Brave Girls gained more popularity in 2021.

3. BTS – Butter

The second English-language track by BTS, ‘Butter,’ successfully sits on #3 of the list for songs with the most likes in 2021, according to Melon.

4. Lee Mujin – Traffic Light

The jazzy, easy listening song ‘Traffic Light’ by Lee Mujin gained more and more likes in Melon.

5. IU – Lilac

“In the language of flowers, ‘lilac’ means ‘memories of youth.’ I wanted to include a farewell with the message ‘I’m now going onward to my next chapter’ while also greeting my upcoming 30s at the same time.”

6. aespa – Next Level

Has been on #1 Melon 24Hits Chart, aespa ‘Next Level’ is still one of the songs with the most likes in 2021. However, it is said that students were not allowed to listen to this song during the CSAT due to its earworm, sticky music.

7. Justin Bieber – Peaches (ft. Daniel Caesar and Giveon)

Released on March 19, 2021, ‘Peaches’ is the fifth single from Justin Bieber’s sixth studio album, ‘Justice.’

8. BTS – Permission to Dance

The third English-language song from BTS is also in the top 10 songs that received the most likes in Melon. It is expected to gain more likes after BTS ‘Permission to Dance on Stage.’

9. The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber – STAY

According to Genius, ‘STAY’ is ‘a collaboration between The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber, which details LAROI’s wish for his lover’s forgiveness and Bieber’s admiration for his significant other.’

10. MSG Wannabe (M.O.M) – Foolish Love

‘Foolish Love’ by MSG Wannabe (M.O.M) has placed #1 on Melon’s daily and 24Hits charts. And now it sits nicely on the list of top 10 songs that received the most likes in 2021.
