According to the results, Kim Soo Hyun, Byeon Woo Seok, Park Sung Hoon, Kim Ji Won, and Lee Joo Bin claimed the top five spots of the most popular Korean drama actors and actresses this month. May 2024 Top Korean Drama Actor Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute collected 67,895,282 brand big data points from 50 Korean drama actors who appeared in dramas that aired from April 6 to May 6, 2024. Using a brand reputation algorithm, they calculated the consumer brand participation, media, traffic, and community indexes. Furthermore, the institute determined the Korean drama actor rankings according to their brand values from the comprehensive analysis. Compared to the big data of 41,037,372 drama actors’ brands in April, it increased by 65.45%.

1. Kim Soo Hyun
Actor Kim Soo Hyun, who gained viewers’ attention with his performance in Queen of Tears, continued to top this month’s most popular Korean drama actors ranking. The actor achieved a brand value of 9,600,291 with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 2,827,925
- Media Index: 2,583,652
- Communication Index: 2,126,486
- Community Index: 2,062,228
In the big data link analysis, Kim Soo Hyun’s brand received a high score for the related terms “handsome,” “another breakthrough,” and “tears.” Meanwhile, in the keyword analysis, the phrases “Queen of Tears, Park Sung Hoon, OST” received a high score. In the positive/negative ratio analysis, the actor received a positive rate of 93.82%.
2. Byeon Woo Seok
Rising star Byeon Woo Seok, who captured viewers’ hearts with his performance in Lovely Runners, claimed the second spot this month. The actor gained a brand value of 8,080,819 this month with the following indexes:

3. Park Sung Hoon
