BTS Continuously Leading in the Top 50 Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings in December 2022

Top five popular Kpop boy groups in December 2022: BTS, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, NCT, and THE BOYZ. | Brikorea.

The Korean Business Research Institute has analyzed 53,254,856 Kpop boy group big data collected from November 10, 2022, to December 10, 2022. However, compared to the 50,972,215 brand big data of the Kpop boy group in November, it increased by 4.48 percent.

As a result, Kpop boy groups BTS, SEVENTEEN, Stray Kids, NCT, and THE BOYZ dominated this month’s top five most popular Kpop boy groups. BTS remained at the No. 1 position for the 55th consecutive month, with a brand reputation index of 12,276,480 in December.

In the keyword analysis, BTS’ top-ranking phrases were “Jungkook,” “Jin,” and “RM.” Meanwhile, on the related term analysis, the top-ranking phrases were “perform,” “record,” and “release.” Additionally, in the positivity-negativity analysis, the group earned a positive reaction score of 90.42 percent.

Rose to No. 2 this month was SEVENTEEN with a brand reputation index of 3,805,885. Compared to the group’s brand reputation index of 2,229,913 in November, it increased by 70 percent. Meanwhile, Kpop boy group Stray Kids dropped to No. 3 on the list with a brand reputation index of 2,598,638.

Jumped to No. 4, SM Entertainment boy group NCT gained more than 100 percent of increase on the brand reputation index from last month. In December, the group earned a brand reputation index of 2,218,616 from 1,104,326 in November.

And finally, rounding out the big five on the list, there was THE BOYZ, who remained at No. 5 since last month with a brand reputation index of 2,123,456, marking a 20.23 percent increase in the group’s value since last month.
