February 2024 Top Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute collected and analyzed 53,831,342 pieces of big data related to Kpop boy group brands from January 10th to February 10th. The Institute analyzed various measures such as the participation index, media index, communication index, and community index through consumer behavior analysis. Compared to the previous month’s brand big data of 62,649,153, the data decreased by 14.07%. This decrease indicates a change in consumer behavior and brand perceptions.
In February 2024, the Institute analyzed the brand reputations of the top 30 boy idol groups as follows: SEVENTEEN, RIIZE, THE BOYZ, BTS, NCT, EXO, Super Junior, Stray Kids, ZEROBASEONE, BTOB, SHINee, B1A4, ENHYPEN, Infinite, TVXQ, ASTRO, MONSTA X, TREASURE, ATEEZ, Pentagon, Winner, TXT, Wanna One, VIXX, 2PM, SF9, BOYNEXTDOOR, CRAVITY, GOT7, and Highlight.

1. SEVENTEEN
Kpop male group SEVENTEEN has maintained its position at the top of this month’s boy group brand ranking. One of the factors contributing to their popularity is their successful variety show “Nana Tour” with PD Na. The analysis results indicate their continuous popularity. The group’s recent achievements include:
- Participation Index: 578,414
- Media Index: 1,930,465
- Communication Index: 1,497,026
- Community Index: 1,890,176
Consequently, SEVENTEEN attained a brand reputation index of 5,896,081 in February. Although there was a slight decrease of 4.24% from January’s 6,157,072, the boy band remained in first place since January.
Furthermore. the Institute performed a link analysis and identified the most popular terms associated with SEVENTEEN, such as “record,” “confirmed,” and “donate.” In the keyword analysis, they determined that popular keywords related to the group were “Nana Tour,” “Encore Tour,” and “Japan Record Association.” Furthermore, the positive/negative ratio analysis revealed that SEVENTEEN achieved a positive ratio of 84.72%.
2. RIIZE
The rookie boy band RIIZE, who accumulated over 100 million streams of their songs on Spotify, climbed to the second position on the list this month. Based on the analysis, the boy band achieved indices as follows:
- Participation Index: 661,847
- Media Index: 1,878,069
- Communication Index: 882,019
- Community Index: 833,230
In February, the brand reputation index of the rookie idol group RIIZE significantly increased by 22.01%, rising from 3,487,644 in January to 4,255,165.
3. THE BOYZ
Kpop boy group THE BOYZ, who will perform at the Asia Star Entertainer Awards in April, rose to the third position this month. The analysis revealed the following results for the group’s brand analysis:

- Media Index: 969,208
- Communication Index: 953,791
- Community Index: 1,158,104
Accordingly, THE BOYZ’s brand reputation index rose 7.07% from 3,047,935 in January to 3,263,313 in February.
4. BTS
