On April 14, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the top 50 most popular Kpop female groups for April 2024. As a result, ILLIT, (G)I-DLE, IVE, BLACKPINK, and BABYMONSTER secured the top five positions on the popularity rankings this April. April 2024 Top Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
From March 14 to April 14, 2024, the Korea Business Research Institute generated 42,876,755 brand big data of Kpop girl groups. Using the brand big data, the Institute conducted a comprehensive analysis to measure consumer behavior, which will determine the girl groups’ brand values through participation, media, communication, and community indexes. Compared to 41,671,067 girl group brand big data last March, it increased by 2.89%.
As a result, ILLIT, (G)I-DLE, IVE, BLACKPINK, and BABYMONSTER secured the top five list. Check out the most popular Kpop female groups with the highest brand values in February, March, and April 2024.

1. ILLIT
Belift Lab’s new girl group, ILLIT, who debuted on March 25, 2024, with the song “Magnetic,” claimed the first spot this month. The group achieved a brand value of 3,347,912 this month with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 507,908
- Media Index: 838,767
- Communication Index: 962,200
- Community Index: 1,039,036
Furthermore, as a result of a comprehensive keyword analysis, the Institute identified “Magnetic,” “Billboard,” and “Spotify,” as the group’s most popular keywords. Meanwhile, in the link analysis the Institute identified “record,” “honest,” and “confident” as the group’s most popular related terms. Moreover, the group obtained a positive score of 87.89 percent in the positivity-negativity analysis.
2. (G)I-DLE
The Kpop girl group (G)-IDLE, who recently performed at the 2024 MLB World Tour: Seoul Series, remained in the second position this month with a brand value of 3,072,50. Despite staying in the same spot, the group’s brand value decreased by 20.62% from 3,870,855 last March to 3,072,509 in April with the following indices:

- Media Index: 669,223
- Communication Index: 862,822
- Community Index: 1,429,420
3. IVE
The Kpop girl group IVE, set to make a comeback with the new EP “IVE SWITCH,” rose to the third position this month. However, the group’s brand value decreased by 10.79% from 2,964,119 last March to 2,644,317 this April, with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 217,804
- Media Index: 667,783
- Communication Index: 490,780
- Community Index: 1,267,950
4. BLACKPINK
Although there was a slight decrease in Kpop girl group BLACKPINK’s brand value, the Kpop sensation remained in fourth position this month. Additionally, BLACKPINK’s Jennie became the first Korean female soloist to have a collab song, “One of the Girls,” on the Billboard Hot 100 for 15 weeks, while BLACKPINK Lisa recently signed with US company RCA Records. Despite these achievements, their brand value fell 1.22% from 2,633,573 in March to 2,601,322 this April, as reflected in the following indices:

- Community Index: 1,115,150
5. BABYMONSTER
YG’s new girl group with seven members, BABYMONSTER, made their debut on April 1 this month and soared to the fifth position. The rookie Kpop idol group achieved a brand value of 2,574,551 this month. It rose 148.09% from their last brand value of 1,037,745 in March with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 261,800
- Media Index: 611,603
- Communication Index: 773,353
- Community Index: 927,795
