February 2024 Top Kpop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed brand data from January 11 to February 11, 2024. They examined 49,182,794 data points to calculate the brand reputation index for Kpop female groups. The analysis considered various factors such as participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement. Compared to the data analyzed in January, which consisted of 45,245,126 data points, there was an increase of 8.70% in February.
In February 2024, the top 30 Kpop girl group brand reputation rankings were dominated by the following groups: (G)I-DLE, IVE, TWICE, LE SSERAFIM, BLACKPINK, aespa, NewJeans, Red Velvet, Oh My Girl, Girls’ Generation, Apink, NMIXX, BABYMONSTER, H1-Key, ITZY, WJSN, Alice, cignature, MAMAMOO, STAYC, APRIL, fromis_9, Girl’s Day, Dreamcatcher, Ladies’ Code, EXID, LOONA, CLASS:y, Kep1er, and woo!ah!

1. (G)I-DLE
The five-member K-pop girl group, (G)I-DLE, who recently released their second full-length album “2,” claimed the top spot in this month’s rankings for K-pop female groups. Based on the analysis conducted by the Institute, the following figures represent (G) I-DLE’s data analysis:
- Participation Index: 242,120
- Media Index: 744,578
- Communication Index: 1,676,851
- Community Index: 2,444,967
Consequently, they achieved a brand reputation index of 5,108,516 in February. This signifies a significant increase of 149.16% compared to their brand reputation index of 2,050,317 in January.
Furthermore, the Institute identified “strong,” “glamorous,” and “powerful” as the group’s most popular related terms in the link analysis. Meanwhile, in the keyword analysis, the highly ranked phrases for the group included “Super Lady,” “Soyeon,” and “YouTube.” Additionally, (G) I-DLE’s analysis of positivity and negativity showed a high score of 95.88% positive reactions.
2. IVE
The talented K-pop rookie girl group, IVE, who recently dropped their debut all-English single, secured the second spot on this month’s list. The analysis conducted by the Institute uncovered the following findings regarding IVE’s data:
- Participation Index: 277,576
- Media Index: 811,326
- Communication Index: 971,427
- Community Index: 1,228,616
As a result, the group achieved a brand reputation index of 3,288,945 in February. Surprisingly, this represents a slight decrease of 1.68% compared to their brand reputation index of 3,345,078 in January.
3. TWICE
TWICE, who is preparing to release their 13th mini album titled “With YOU-th,” climbed to the third spot on this month’s list. Analyzing TWICE’s data, the Institute unveiled the following results:
- Participation Index: 95,540
- Media Index: 922,767
- Communication Index: 826,335
- Community Index: 1,236,846
As a result, they obtained a brand reputation index of 3,081,489 in February. Impressively, this reflects a substantial increase of 20.77% compared to their brand reputation index of 2,551,545 in January.
4. LE SSERAFIM
LE SSERAFIM, who is gearing up for a comeback with their 3rd mini album called “EASY” on February 19, climbed to the fourth position. The Institute’s analysis unveiled the following results:
- Participation Index: 198,900
- Media Index: 544,501
- Communication Index: 817,146
- Community Index: 1,429,446
As a result, the quintet gained a brand reputation index of 2,989,993. This figure represents a remarkable increase of 24.04% compared to their brand reputation index of 2,410,596 in January.
5. BLACKPINK
Kpop sensation BLACKPINK, whose members are currently pursuing individual projects, fell to fifth place on this month’s list. Analyzing the data related to Blackpink, the Institute discovered the following results:
- Participation Index: 122,196
- Media Index: 837,606
- Communication Index: 853,279
- Community Index: 1,076,603
Consequently, the group obtained a brand reputation index of 2,889,685 in February. This figure represents a significant decline of 38.19% compared to their brand reputation index of 4,675,078 in January.
