On April 18, the Korean Business Research Institute unveiled the latest rankings of the most beloved Kpop idol groups for April 2024. As a result, ILLIT, SEVENTEEN, TWS, (G)I-DLE, and IVE secured the top five Kpop idol groups for this month. These groups have not only captured the hearts of their fans but also the attention of the industry. April 2024 TOP 50 Kpop Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 65,367,855 idol group brand big data from March 18 to April 18, 2024, to conduct a comprehensive analysis of idol group brand reputation. Compared to the 71,636,610 idol group brand big data last March, it decreased by 8.75%.
Here are the 30 most popular Kpop female and male idol groups in February, March, and April 2024:
TOP 5
1. ILLIT
BELIFT LAB’s rookie female idol group, ILLIT, claimed the first position for this month’s top Kpop idol group rankings with a brand value of 5,045,265 with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 1,260,574
- Media Index: 955,663
- Communication index: 1,510,854
- Community Index: 1,318,175
In the link analysis, the Institute found “record,” “enter,” and “reveal” as the group’s most popular phrases. Meanwhile, the Institute found “magnetic,” “billboard,” and “lucky girl syndrome” as the group’s most popular keywords. Moreover, in the positive/negative ratio analysis, the group achieved a positive score of 92.70%.
2. SEVENTEEN
Kpop male group SEVENTEEN rose to the second position this month with a brand value of 3,741,080. Compared to the brand reputation index of 7,073,206 last March, it fell 47.11%, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 408,954
- Media Index: 631,304
- Communication Index: 1,083,607
- Community Index: 1,617,215
3. TWS
Rookie male idol group TWS rose to the third position this month with a brand value of 3,432,767. Compared to the brand reputation index of 2,945,301 last March, it rose 16.55%, with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 531,552
- Media Index: 654,262
- Communication Index: 1,248,711
- Community Index: 998,242
4. (G)I-DLE
Kpop female group (G)-IDLE fell to the fourth position this month with a brand value of 2,968,167. Compared to the brand reputation index of 3,603,108 last March, it fell 17.62%, with the following indices:
- Participation Index: 161,112
- Media Index: 321,124
- Communication Index: 923,280
- Community Index: 1,562,651
5. IVE
Kpop girl group IVE rose to the fifth position this month with a brand value of 2,390,264. Compared to the brand reputation index of 2,123,472 last March, it rose 12.56%, with the following indices:

- Media Index: 418,722
- Communication index: 648,628
- Community Index: 1,014,606
