The Korean Business Research Institute conducted a big data analysis of Kpop rookie idol groups by extracting 13,978,943 brand big data entries related to rookie idol groups from July 1 to August 1, 2024. Compared to July’s big data of 15,249,035, the number experienced an 8.33% decrease.
According to the latest big data analysis, the rookie idol group with the highest brand reputation for August 2024 is TWS, followed by TripleS, RIIZE, QWER, and BABYMONSTER dominated the top five.

The results of the brand reputation analysis for rookie idol groups in August 2024 have been revealed, showcasing the top performers in this competitive landscape.
1. TWS
Kpop rookie idol group TWS, who performed impressively at the ‘2024 KCON L.A.’ and the opening of ‘Hybe: We Believe in Music, A Grammy Museum Pop-Up,’ claimed the top spot. The six-piece idol group led the rookie group brand reputation rankings for August 2024 with a brand reputation index of 2,091,526. This score marks a significant increase of 68.05% from July’s index of 1,244,609. Here is the breakdown of the group’s latest brand reputation index:
- Participation Index: 303,506
- Media Index: 380,165

In further detail, the Institute conducted a more comprehensive analysis of the rookie group TWS. The group’s link analysis results highlighted terms such as “intense,” “refreshing,” and “youthful.”
Moreover, the keyword analysis revealed “42,” “plot twist,” and “summer beat” as the most popular keywords of the group. Additionally, the study of the positive-to-negative ratio showed a remarkable positive rate of 86.79%.
2. tripleS
Kpop rookie idol group tripleS, the largest female idol group with 24 members, climbed to second place this month. The Kpop idol group’s brand reputation index increased by 28.07%, rising from 1,396,545 in July to 1,788,518 in August, supported by the following indices:

- Community Index: 323,953
3. RIIZE
Kpop rookie group RIIZE, set to launch the fan-con world tour ‘RIIZING Day’ Finale live in cinemas worldwide, secured third place this month. The male rookie idol group’s brand reputation index decreased by 27.08%, dropping from 1,991,646 in July to 1,452,364 in August, supported by the following indices:
