July 2024 Top Kpop Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute analyzed the brand reputation of rookie idol groups. They analyzed 15,249,035 pieces of rookie idol groups’ brand big data from June 2 to July 2, 2024. This figure marked a 16.80% decrease compared to the 18,327,120 pieces of data collected in June. As a result, the brand reputation rankings revealed that ILLIT, RIIZE, tripleS, QWER, and TWS secured the top five spots for rookie idol groups in July 2024.

1. ILLIT
Rookie Kpop idol group ILLIT, who topped the 30 most streamed South Korean Music on Spotify with their track “Magnetic,” secured the top spot in the brand reputation rankings for July 2024. Despite leading the ranking, the group’s brand reputation index dropped by 32.19%, declining from 3,182,785 in June to 2,158,340 in July, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 297,724
- Media Index: 356,805
- Communication Index: 709,027
- Community Index: 794,784
Further, in link analysis, the institute highlighted “fresh,” “cute,” and “beautiful” as the most popular associated terms with the group. Moreover, their top keywords were “magnetic,” “Wonhee,” and “Billboard.” The group received a positive ratio of 80.91% in the positive-to-negative analysis.
2. RIIZE
Kpop rookie RIIZE, who recently made Japan debut and released a new single, “Lucky,” took second in the rankings. They claimed the second spot in the rankings. They achieved this position with a brand reputation index of 68.65%, increasing from 1,180,961 in June to 1,991,646 in July. The specific indexes are as follows:
- Participation Index: 295,274
- Media Index: 430,953
- Communication Index: 614,711
- Community Index: 650,708
3. tripleS
Kpop girl group TripleS, who made a comeback with 24 members and was recently appointed as the official ambassador for the Character Licensing Fair 2024, rose to the third position. However, despite the increase in rank, the group’s brand reputation index fell by 7.07%. The group’s brand reputation index decreased from 1,502,745 in June to 1,396,545 in July, with the following breakdown:

4. QWER
Kpop girl band QWER, who recently partnered with League of Legends to produce a Japanese single named “ANIMA POWER” for Riot Games’ latest game mode/skin line, skyrocketed to the fourth position. However, despite this rise, their brand reputation index declined by 36.51%. Their brand reputation index went from 2,043,492 in June to 1,297,375 in July, with the following indexes:

5. TWS
