May 2024 Top Kpop Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute extracted 23,579,001 new idol group brand big data from April 2 to May 2, 2024. Using the latest brand big data, they analyzed the big data of the new Kpop idol group brands. Compared to 17,599,703 new idol group brand big data last April, it increased by 33.97%.
The institute analyzed the brand reputation of the new Kpop idol boy and girl groups that debuted after 2022 by measuring various indices related to their brands. They utilized brand big data analysis to determine the latest rankings of the most popular Kpop rookie idol groups.
Here are the top 30 Kpop female and male rookie idol groups in March, April, and May 2024.

1. ILLIT
HYBE’s new female idol group, ILLIT, recently scored the first perfect all-kill with their debut track, “Magnetic,” topped this month’s list. The group’s brand value rose 253.52%, from 1,509,192 in April to 5,335,252 in May, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 1,173,052
- Media Index: 1,526,633
- Communication Index: 1,634,388
- Community Index: 1,001,179
2. TWS
Pledis’ new male Kpop idol, TWS, recently celebrated their 100-day debut, dropped to the second position this month. Although they fell to the second position, the boy group’s brand value rose 41.78%, from 3,087,252 in April to 4,377,016 in May, with the following indexes:
- Participation Index: 992,686
- Media Index: 482,987
- Communication index: 1,698,583
- Community Index: 1,202,760
3. BABYMONSTER
YG’s new female Kpop idol group, BABYMONSTER, recently sang live impressively of “SHEESH” at G-Park Radio Show, rose to the third position this month. Their brand value rose 287.56%, from 839,160 in April to 3,252,218 in May, with the following indexes:

- Media Index: 775,494
- Communication Index: 1,107,398
- Community Index: 733,110
4. ZEROBASEONE
WAKEONE’s new male Kpop idol group ZEROBASEONE, who recently released a new MV of ‘SWEAT’ special summer video, rose to the fourth position this month. Their brand value increased 103.65%, from 763,931 in April to 1,555,709 in May, with the following indexes:

- Media Index: 180,919
- Communication Index: 638,151
- Community Index: 604,143
5. RIIZE
SM Entertainment’s new male Kpop group RIIZE, who will release their 1st mini album “RIIZING” in June, completed the top five for this month. The new group’s brand value rose 101.33%, from 705,399 in April to 1,420,204 in May, with the following indexes:

- Media Index: 292,770
- Communication Index: 314,644
