In the top five spots with the highest brand reputation index, we have NewJeans, ZEROBASEONE, Riize, LE SSERAFIM, and NMIXX. November 2023 Top Kpop Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings

The Korean Business Research Institute comprehensively analyzed the brand reputation of new Kpop idol groups, encompassing both boy and girl groups. Their evaluation considers consumer participation, media coverage, communication, and community engagement.

In their extensive data analysis for November, they extracted 14,672,783 data points from October 2 to November 2, 2023. This represents a 2.17% decrease compared to the 14,997,673 rookie idol group brands in October.

As a result, NewJeans continued its reign at the top of the list for the fifth month in a row. ZEROBASEONE made a significant jump from third to second place. On the other hand, LE SSERAFIM slipped to fifth place. Excitingly, both Riize and NMIXX entered the top five with a remarkable increase in their brand reputation index in November.

Top 5 Rookie Idol Groups

1. New Jeans

Rookie group NewJeans, who continue to make history on the Billboard charts with their album “Get Up,” remained at the top of the list for the seventh month.

The girl group achieved a participation index of 470,498, a media index of 685,012, a communication index of 1,230,674, and a community index of 1,396,074. As a result, their brand reputation index for November stood at 3,782,258, indicating a 13.40% decline compared to the previous month’s index of 4,367,463.

The keyword analysis highlighted phrases such as “Get Up,” “Super Shy,” and “Billboard,” while related terms included “enter,” “record,” and “award.” The group also received an impressive 83.41% positive reaction score in the positivity-negativity analysis.

2. ZEROBASEONE

ZEROBASEONE, who recently released their official light stick, climbed to second place this month. They obtained a participation index of 501,270, a media index of 367,095, a communication index of 225,835, and a community index of 257,556. Consequently, their brand reputation index reached 1,351,756, marking a significant improvement. Compared to October’s brand reputation index 822,425, it surged by an impressive 64.36%.

3. Riize

Rookie boy group Riize, who claimed the third place, achieved global success by topping the iTunes Charts with their hit single “Talk Saxy.” Additionally, the group obtained a participation index of 501,270, a media index of 367,095, a communication index of 225,835, and a community index of 257,556 this month. Consequently, their brand reputation index soared to 1,351,756, marking a remarkable 64.36% increase compared to October’s index of 822,425.

4. LE SSERAFIM

LE SERRAFIM, who collaborated with Overwatch 2, dropped from second place to fourth place. They gained a participation index of 324,282, a media index of 303,771, a communication index of 257,042, and a community index of 238,379. Therefore, as a result, LE SSERAFIM gained a brand reputation index of 1,123,473. However, it fell 19.15%, compared to the brand reputation index of 1,389,556 last October,

5. NMIXX

NMIXX, one of the winners of the Bonsang at the 2023 The Fact Music Awards, rose to fifth place. They obtained a participation index of 110,544, a media index of 148,941, a communication index of 396,696, and a community index of 352,948. As a result, NMIXX achieved a brand reputation index of 1,009,128 this month, a remarkable improvement of 79.64% compared to October’s index of 561,757.
