Signs of TWICE and Genshin Impact Possible Collaboration
Nothing can escape the eyes of Kpop gamers when it comes to their beloved games and Kpop groups! As several TWICE girl group references have appeared in Genshin Impact, fans started to assume that they will form a future collaboration.
TWICE Logo Reference at Amakumo Peak
The first sign of TWICE x Genshin Impact collab appeared after the online game released their 2.1 updates on September 1. The update revealed a new area called “Seirai Island”. On Seirai Island, there is a place called the Amakumo Peak, where gamers can unlock various challenges and puzzles. This place is where the signs begin.
As you explore the Amakumo Peak in Genshin Impact, you will find a peculiar wooden basement door with a familiar logo. If you are a ONCE fan, you will definitely recognize the loops and curl in the logo. Why? Because it is incredibly similar to TWICE.
Genshin Impact Buff Dish with the name “More-and-More”
In addition to the TWICE logo reference, Genshin Impact has also released a new buff dish in the 2.1 updates with the name, “More-and-More”. As the picture may seem like ordinary Japanese okonomiyaki, Kpop gamers believe that this dish represents a homage to the 9th mini-album of TWICE, “MORE & MORE”.
On the other hand, both the developer of Genshin Impact, MiHoYo, and TWICE girl group has yet released any statement regarding a future collaboration. However, Kpop gamers are waiting excitedly and hoping that TWICE x Genshin Impact collab will happen soon.
