Despite having marked their name in the history with their 2022 4th World Tour “III” in US, TWICE Momo apparently suffers from a head injury during the time. What REALLY happened? Check out the following story.
TWICE Marked Their Name in History with “III” 2022 4th World Tour in the US, But Momo Had to Suffer from Head Injury
While there are numerous controversial issues revolving around their hoobae sisters NMIXX and ITZY, it seems that the 3rd gen Kpop girl group phenomenon, TWICE, has always managed to showcase their dazzling light no matter where they are. After previously breaking records at MAMA 2021 and having their MVs on the top 10 most viewed for Kpop girl groups and singers, TWICE has made history once again.
On March 2, various media reported that Kpop 3rd gen girl group TWICE has again written its name in history with the “III” 4th US World Tour 2022. However, at the same time, TWICE Momo revealed that she suffered from a head injury during their 2022 US Tour.
FIRST Female Kpop Act with TWO Separate Arena Tours in US
According to various media sources, the moment they ended their 2022 US tour, TWICE has marked their name in history as the FIRST female Kpop act to ever hold TWO separate arena tours in the US.
During their “III” 4th US World Tour 2022, TWICE conducted their stage performances in Los Angeles, Fort Worth, Oakland, New York, and Atlanta. Not only that, the girls also performed 2 shows in Los Angeles and New York during their US tour in 2022.
TWICE “III” 4th US World Tour 2022: FIRST Kpop Girl Group Tour with HIGHEST Attendance
Furthermore, when you see the total attendance record during TWICE “III” 4th US World Tour 2022, around 100,000 people were present in the concert. This record makes TWICE “III” 4th US World Tour 2022 becomes the FIRST Kpop Girl Group Tour with the highest attendance in US history.
Not only that, the number of attendances in TWICE “III” 4th US World Tour 2022 almost quadrupled since their US concert in 2019. After all, there were approximately 28,000 people who attended the US part of the TWICE world tour in 2019. It shows how much TWICE has improved so much during these past years.
On top of everything, TWICE has now joined BTS as the only Korean artists who managed to sell over 100,000 tickets for their US tours. They have also surpassed BLACKPINK, who previously sold around 75,000 tickets for the 2019 “In Your Area” Tour.
TWICE Momo Revealed to Have Suffered from Head Injury During US Tour 2022
Following the end of the last concert for “III” 4th US World Tour 2022, TWICE immediately went online on TikTok LIVE to discuss the tour. During the live stream session, TWICE Momo suddenly revealed that during their last day of the US Tour 2022, she had to perform on stage while suffering from a slight head injury.
What REALLY Happened?
Further in the live stream session, TWICE Momo explained that her head injury happened when she went backstage between “Cry For Me” and “Scientist.” At the time, she rushed so quickly that she hit her head hard on a huge pillar.
Usually, TWICE had to keep bending over while passing the low bar path near the changing station for the members. While rushing has been a common experience, and they were usually careful in moving around backstage, TWICE Momo mentioned that she was highly thrilled during their last performance. That is why she forgot to bend down, which caused her head to hit the pillar while biting her tongue so hard it bled simultaneously.
I think our jeongyeon is checking momo because they already told in tik tok live that momo bumped her head and it hurt her tongue also . So our jeong is taking care of her friend ❤️ They are soulmates ❤️ https://t.co/e1vRa65Vuy

Along with Momo’s story, Nayeon also added that they were all in a rush because of the minimal time to change costumes. So this accident can actually happen to any of them.
TWICE Momo was Extremely Scared About the Head Injury for A Good Reason
Once the accident happened, TWICE Momo was scared and went to Jeongyeon crying. TWICE Momo was also scared that she would lose some of her memories due to the head injury in the middle of the important concert.
“My eyes really couldn’t focus. I was thinking, ‘What do I do?’ with tears falling.”
TWICE Momo.
However, despite crying hard and her body shaking after the head injury, TWICE Momo still went up on stage to perform “Scientist” anyway. That is why most TWICE members also stated that they couldn’t really focus while performing the song because they were worried about Momo.
And it is for a good reason.
Previously on “Knowing Bros”, TWICE Momo revealed that she had suffered from a head injury during elementary school. At the time, a classmate pushed her hard into a wall, and she started bleeding. And as a result, Momo’s grades started to decline, and her English skills deteriorated.
That is why TWICE Momo was extremely scared of losing memory in the middle of the important event when she hit her head.
TWICE Concluded “III” 4th US World Tour 2022 with Their Iconic and Alluring Dazzle
Finally, as one of the icons for the 3rd gen Kpop groups, TWICE managed to conclude their “III” 4th US World Tour 2022 with a dazzle. Even when TWICE Momo stated that she couldn’t really remember her performance in the US Tour 2022 after the head injury, the other members encouraged her and revealed that she had done amazing.
