Underrated Kpop Boy Group in 2022
CIX – 458
The opening of “458” is considered the best music of CIX. The arrangements of instruments and CIX members’ vocals are mesmerizing.
EPEX – Anthem of Teen Spirit; Hymn to Love
Click Clack! EPEX has been very active this year. Therefore, EPEX is one underrated Kpop boy group releasing many songs in 2022. There are at least two tracks from EPEX you shouldn’t skip: “Anthem of Teen Spirit” and “Hymn to Love.” They are the title tracks of their EPs, “Prelude of Anxiety Chapter 1. ’21st Century Boys'” and “Prelude of Love Chapter 1: Puppy Love.”
OMEGA X – LOVE ME LIKE; PLAY DUMB
With all the issues happening this year, OMEGA X definitely deserves more promotion. They are one of the most underrated Kpop boy groups with good music. Each member has their own special story, and through those stories, they hope that fans can relate and resonate with each member’s personality and music.
BLANK2Y – Fuego (Burn It Up)
Here comes another underrated Kpop boy group that deserves to be in the national and global spotlight. As the “key to open a black space,” BLANK2Y‘s music should be in our playlist, especially these two.
AB6IX – 1, 2, 3; Sugarcoat
AB6IX has had a hectic year with many releases and a fan-meeting tour. Working with Helix Publicity, BRANDNEW MUSIC’s boy group AB6IX released at least two good songs this year.
YOUNITE – Aviator
We also have another Kpop boy group under BRANDNEW MUSIC, YOUNITE, that deserves more attention and love. Debuting with their first EP, “YOUNI-BIRTH,” in July 2022, the group also made an epic comeback with their second EP, “YOUNI-Q,” in the same year.
P1Harmony – Do It Like This
“Do It Like This” is the perfect song to boost your energy during a tiring day. As the most underrated Kpop boy group, P1Harmony deserves to be in the national and global spotlight.
ONEWE – Universe_
If you are keen on soothing ballads, you must listen to “Universe_” by ONEWE. The soothing musical instruments combined with ONEWE’s mesmerizing vocals are very comforting. ONEWE is one of the most underrated Kpop groups in 2022 that will give you the universe.
Tan – Du Du Du
Debuting in 2022, the rookie Kpop boy group TAN seems to be underrated. Their debut mini album, “1TAN,” is absolutely too good not to listen to. The title track, “DU DU DU,” slays their debut era with the perfect beat and charming visuals.
KINGDOM – 승천 (Ascension)
The group debuted in 2021 under GF Entertainment with the first mini-album, “History Of Kingdom: Part I Arthur.” The group’s concept is royalty, and in their historical universe, each member represents seven kings and their kingdoms. Adopting a historical concept, “Ascension” seems to be one of the most underrated songs from the Kpop boy group KINGDOM. The traditional instrumental sounds and fashion fit the theme for the title track of “History Of Kingdom: Park IV. Dann.”
Xdinary Heroes – Strawberry Cake
With the pop-rock vibe, Xdinary Heroes reminds us that sometimes the sweetness is just fake. However, the more we listen to “Strawberry Cake,” the more we are warned to be more realistic in our lives.
Aimers
Debuted on November 17, we have not heard a lot about this group. Aimers must be one underrated Kpop boy group with amazing debut and more great music in the future.
