In a special episode of YouTube ‘Released’ this coming Friday, BTS will join Chris Martin in a conversation. BTS members will share the meaning and inspiration behind the #PermissiontoDance challenge on YouTube Shorts and more.
In a brief trailer, the members of BTS took turns to talk briefly about what they shared on the program. Then, BTS Jimin shared the topic for the show and said, “We’ll talk about the positive vibes we felt during the challenge.”

BTS Jimin mentioned the challenge referred to the recent “Permission to Dance” challenge on YouTube Shorts. “Permission to Dance” is the group’s third full song in the English language and their second collaboration with British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.
After it was released on July 9, the global Kpop star invited people to dance to BTS’s new song “Permission to Dance” with the “International Sign” gestures for “Joy,” “Dance,” and “Peace.” The three-week challenge has encouraged many people worldwide to make videos and upload them through YouTube Shorts.
The show will lead directly to the “BTS ‘Permission to Dance’ MV (Shorts Challenge ver.),” which will feature a selection of short videos from the YouTube challenge created by BTS’s fans around the world.
