After being discharged from the military, actor Do Kyung Soo or known as EXO D.O., is busy and booked for new movies. Currently, he is filming for the new movie “The Moon.” He has also confirmed to play in a remake of a Taiwanese film entitled “The Secret.”

The Moon

The Moon is a science fiction film. It follows a story of a man (EXO’s D.O) who got trapped in space due to an unexpected accident. At the time, a lone man (Sol Kyung Gu) accidentally connects with him and tries to bring him back to Earth safely.

Actor Do Kyung Soo is filming the movie and working with other famous South Korean actors and actresses, Sol Kyung Gu and Kim Hee Ae.

Kim Yong Hwa directs this film. He is famous for his proven effects and cinematography in the movie Along With The Gods: The Two World. As a result, he won the best director award at the 2018 Baeksang Arts Awards.

Furthermore, Kim Hee Ae, a senior actress who became more popular in 2020 with her Korean drama role “The World of the Married,” will portray Moon Young Eun’s character. She is the general director of the NASA space station. Moreover, she is the one who holds the key to save EXO D.O. from outer space.

The Secret

“The Secret” is a Taiwanese romance-fantasy film released in 2008. Jay Chou and Gwei Lun Mei starred in the original drama. In this drama, EXO D.O. will play the male lead Jay Chou played in the original drama. Later on April, there will be an audition to select the female lead.

This film tells the love story of the childhood of a young couple who attended the same music school. A young pianist (EXO D.O.) is moving to a new music school. Then, he meets a girl, another student who studies piano. She plays a beautiful and mysterious melody secretly in an old practice room.

Hive Media Corp will be producing the South Korean version of The Secret. Moreover, director Seo Yoo Min will be directing the filming. The filming will start in the second half of this year.
