Double Patty or also known as Deobeulpaeti, 더블패티, Double Patty 2020 is a movie directed by Beuk Seung Hwan. The movie is a slice of life drama that tells the story of young people’s growth and development to live their dreams. It also tells about love and friends between the two leads.

In the movie, Irene plays Lee Hyun Ji, who is an inspiring young college student who works hard to gain her dream and becoming in a successful anchorwoman. Meanwhile, Shin Seung Ho plays as Kang Woo Ram, a former athlete of Korean wrestling (ssireum) who lives with big hopes and dreams.

Double Patty is marking Irene comeback in acting after her first acting experience four years ago. Yet, this movie is also marking Irene’s first debut on the big screen.

Irene made her acting debut with a Korean drama based on a webtoon as one of the female leads. The title is The Female Employees of a Game Company. A drama that portrays young women hardships working at a mobile game company. She was also featured in the Kdrama Descendants of the Sun as herself (Red Velvet’s member).
