The countdown of MTV Video Music Awards or MTV VMAs 2020 has begun. The biggest musical night of the year is going to take place in the US. There are various performers in VMAs this year, such as Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, Doja Cat, and of course, BTS! The biggest musical night event will be live-streamed on the CW, Philo, Fubo TV, YouTube TV, Sling TV Online, and Foxtel (Australia). However, for Indians, there will be no live streaming in the morning. Instead, they will air the recorded show on August 31 at 5:30 pm (red carpet), followed by the main show at 7 pm on Vh1.

With nine nods, Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga are leading the nomination list. Meanwhile, Billie Eilish and The Weekend are on six nominations, and Taylor Swift bags five nominations. And the South Korean boy group Bangtan Sonyeondan or BTS bags four nominations.

BTS is nominated in the Best Pop, Best KPop, Best Group, and Best Choreography categories. Not only that, BTS is also one of the performers in VMAs. We’ll get the chance to see first live performance of BTS new single, Dynamite.

Other Kpop Groups in MTV VMAs 2020

Not only BTS, but there are also other Kpop groups are nominated in the MTV VMAs 2020. In Best Kpop, there are BTS, EXO, (G)I-DLE, Monsta X, Red Velvet, and Tomorrow x Together (TXT). Meanwhile, BLACKPINK is nominated in Best Group and Song of Summer. Monsta X is also nominated in the Best Group category.
