On March 31, an exclusive report from News1 revealed that BLACKPINK Jennie would be releasing her first album as a solo artist. Not only that but according to News1, the release of this solo comeback album will be in June of this year.
According to News1’s report, Jennie had been focusing on working on this album for some time. She had been making a lot of effort for the album release under her new personal label, Odd Atelier (OA). That is why anticipation has been rising immensely in the entertainment industry. After all, this upcoming album will be the first official solo project of soloist Jennie Kim after leaving YG Entertainment.
Since establishing her personal label, OA, Jennie Kim of BLACKPINK has been making various exciting moves, including starring in “Apartment 404” variety show and cementing her existence as a global fashion icon even more, and in fields that she had never journeyed before. Still, OA confirmed that BLACKPINK Jennie is currently preparing for her very first album as a solo artist. However, according to OA, the release date of this solo album is not yet available. Both Jennie and the company have yet to confirm the timing of the album’s release.
