Apple TV+ series “Pachinko” will continue its magnificent production to a Season 2 with its star-studded cast and epic storyline. Check out the following details about the Season 2 confirmation of “Pachinko” and when the release date is coming out.
It’s REALLY Happening! Apple TV+ Series “Pachinko” CONFIRMED for Season 2
Amid the withdrawal effects of the season 1 finale of “Pachinko”, fans can finally shout in excitement because Apple TV+ finally confirmed that there would really be a season 2 for the series.
On April 29, local time, prior to the release of “Pachinko” Season 1 finale, Apple TV+ announced that they had renewed the series for a Season 2. And indeed, it was fantastic news since “Pachinko” is truly one of this year’s masterpieces.
“Words cannot express my joy in being able to continue telling the extraordinary story of this indomitable family.
I’m grateful to the amazing team at Apple and Media Res studio for believing and supporting this show and our passionate fans who have cheered us on. It’s an honor to continue working with this amazing cast and crew.”
Soo Hugh, “Pachinko” creator and producer.
The Storyline Will Most Likely Involve the Same Cast and MORE!
Adapted from a New York Times best-selling novel of the same title by Min Jin Lee, “Pachinko” tells the story of chronicles of war and peace, victory and fate, as well as love and family that spans multiple generations. Taking place in Korea, Japan, and the United States, the series talks about the hope and dream of a Korean immigrant family who left their home to survive and finally finds prosperity.
In season 1, we have witnessed the life-changing process of Sunja’s story after meeting Hansu and leaving her comfortable home. From a young, innocent country girl to a strong wife and mother, Sunja’s character development was one of many strong points that made “Pachinko” a true masterpiece of 2022.
While there has been no further explanation about the “Pachinko” Season 2 cast, many fans highly anticipate who will play the adult version of Noa, son of Sunja and Hansu. After all, if the story follows the original novel, in “Pachinko” Season 2, we will be able to witness adult Noa figuring out the root of his paternal family and see how much he struggles with his shameful family background.
Other main cast of the Apple TV+ “Pachinko” series will most likely return, according to the creator, Soo Hugh, including Kim Min Ha, Lee Min Ho, Youn Yuh Jung, Soji Arai, and Jin Ha.

Finally, there has been no confirmation about when “Pachinko” Season 2 is coming out. Since producer and creator Soo Hugh has just confirmed the Season 2 renewal of “Pachinko”, we will be able to hear more good news about its release date later this year.
