WINNER Lee Seunghoon Tested Positive for COVID-19, YG Entertainment Confirmed

Prior to filming for a solo project, WINNER Lee Seunghoon, also known as Hoony, tested positive for COVID-19. Fortunately, it didn’t affect his teammates, Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, and Song Mino.

WINNER Lee Seunghoon Tested Positive for COVID-19

According to YG Entertainment, WINNER Hoony performed a COVID-19 test using a self-test kit on January 23. He received a positive result, so he decided to take a PCR test to confirm the diagnosis.

All WINNER members also take the preemptive test for COVID-19. Fortunately, Kang Seung Yoon and Song Mino received negative results.

Due to Hoony’s condition, YG Entertainment will halt all his solo and group activities.

WINNER member Lee Seung Hoon tested positive for COVID-19 today (January 24).
The other members (Kang Seung Yoon, Kim Jin Woo, and Song Mino) received negative results from their COVID-19 PCR tests.
Before filming for an individual scheduled activity on January 23, Lee Seung Hoon used a self-test kit as a preemptive measure and tested positive.
After this, all WINNER members halted each of their scheduled activities and received PCR tests, and only Lee Seung Hoon was diagnosed.
Lee Seung Hoon was vaccinated for COVID-19 and did not have any symptoms before being diagnosed, and his health is currently in good condition.
We will spare no effort to support Lee Seung Hoon’s rapid recovery as well as the health and safety of all of our artists.
In addition, we will diligently cooperate with the epidemiological investigation of the disease control authorities and take all necessary measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
