Kpop fans are exited to hear that YG Entertainment New Kpop Girl Group is coming soon. A fan named Eskimo shared a capture of an Instagram post created by a YG insider. Though some netizens are doubtful of the post and think that it might be for clout, they do not lose hope to see the predicted-to-be-named Baby Monster YG girl group this year (or maybe early next year).
On February 27, YG Entertainment confirmed that they are now preparing a new girl group. The group will come within the second half of 2020, between July and December. The new girl group’s name, concept, and members have not been officially announced yet until now. However, we may expect what may come.
And here is what you need to know about YG Entertainment’s new KPop girl group.

The New Girl Group’s Name: Baby Monster
As we may recall our memories, Jisoo once has revealed that BLACKPINK almost debuted under the name BABY MONSTER. It is most likely that YG Entertainment still wants to use that name for the new KPop girl group. In January, eagled-eye fans noticed that YG Entertainment had filed a trademark for the group’s name. But in February, it was also found that YG Entertainment also trademarked BAEMON. This may be a nickname for BABY MONSTER, as it is easier to pronounce in Korean.
The Group’s Concept
Though the concept of (expected to be named as) Baby Monster or BAEMON has not been announced, we may speculate that YG Entertainment is planning a cute concept similar to TWICE. Why not BLACKPINK, the one dominates KPop girl groups under YG Entertainment? The most straightforward reason is that since BLACKPINK is still in its early years, it is not wise to debut another girl group with a similar concept.
Besides, TREASURE, the new boy group under YG Entertainment, is going to debut soon. TREASURE is expected to have a softer, more youthful image than previous YG Entertainment’s boy groups. This speculation is supported by “Going Crazy”. Therefore, a lot of fans expect that YG Entertainment’s new KPop girl group has a similar concept: softer and more youthful.
Members of YG Entertainment’s new KPop girl group
Although the number of group members has not been announced yet, many YG Entertainment trainees are known to the public. Here are 9 names of the trainees that possibly be members of YG Entertainment’s new KPop girl group.

A 20-year-old Chinese trainee named Jane possibly becomes one of the new group’s members. She was born on August 16, 1999. Looking at her age, Jane is expected to be a vocalist and maybe the leader if she debuts in the new girl group. She is currently on the Chinese Reality Show, Youth With You 2020.
Wei Chen aka Vicky
