YoonA and Junho KING THE LAND Drama Adapted into Webtoon with Simultaneous Release Date

Amidst the high anticipation revolving around Girls’ Generation Lim YoonA and 2PM Lee Junho new drama, King the Land, a new webtoon has been released based on the drama’s primary storyline.

On June 12, Yonhap news reported that Kakao Entertainment started releasing its new collection of King the Land webtoon. The webtoon is now available on Kakao Page, featuring stunning and endearing artwork along with intriguing lines.

This webtoon project began after Kakao Entertainment approached the production company and writer. Kakao had reportedly envisioned the drama’s high potential in becoming an IP (Intellectual Property). Therefore, the company plans to release the webtoon simultaneously as the drama airs, which is truly different from the other webtoon projects.

“This project will offer a brand-new experience for our readers as they follow the story in different media formats simultaneously as a webtoon and drama. Therefore, the audience can follow the story from different angles and perspectives.

YoonA & Junho KING THE LAND Drama-Adapted Webtoon Plot and Storyline

According to Yonhap reports, the drama’s webtoon adaptation will still follow the drama’s main characters Cheon Sa Rang (YoonA) and Goo Won (Lee Junho), and their wonderful stories.

However, the focus of the King the Land webtoon will be so much wider than the drama. That is because the webtoon will also tell the stories happening before, during, and after the drama’s timeline. As a result, Cheon Sa Rang and Goo Woon’s stories will be far more detailed and extensive in the webtoon.
