Sunmi Tops K-Pop Radar Weekly Top 10 Music Video Chart

On August 16, the K-Pop fandom data observer “K-Pop Radar” has announced that Sunmi tops the K-Pop Radar weekly top 10 music video YouTube view chart in week 33 (August 8 – August 14) with her latest song, “You can’t sit with us.”

Since 2019, Space Audi’s “K-Pop Radar,” a start-up specializing in music, has identified and announced artists who have made significant growth. They combine the fandom data such as the rising in monthly music video views and the number of followers on official social media platforms.

Check out the top 10 music video on the YouTube view chart during the 33rd week below.

1. Sunmi – You Can’t Sit with Us

Sunmi entered the seventh position on her comeback release (week 32) and climbed to 1st place on the KPop radar YouTube view chart week 33 with her latest song. Her comeback’s track, “You Can’t Sit with Us” MV, gained 31 million additional views on its second week.

According to K-Pop radar, Sunmi’s “You can’t sit with us” surpassed 10 million views in only 24 hours after its release. Moreover, the MV gained a total of 67 million views in the last 30 days.

2. THE BOYZ – Thrill Ride

THE BOYZ returned with a refreshing summer song, “Thrill Ride.” The bop song hit second place directly.

3. BTS – Permission to Dance

BTS ’Permission to Dance’ gained 16.25 million additional views during the week and rose from fourth to third.

4. Somi – DUMB DUMB

Jeon So-mi’s latest bop song, ‘DUMB DUMB,’ gained 15.96 million additional views during the week. But unfortunately, it fell from first place to fourth.

5. ONF – Popping

ONF straights to the fifth position with their new comeback track “Popping.”

6. Weeekly – Holiday Party

‘Holiday Party’ by Weekly rose to the sixth position from the eighth position with 11.85 million additional views.

7. BTS – Butter

BTS’ ‘Butter’ gained 11.18 million additional views on the second week of August. But, unfortunately, the music video fell from sixth to seventh.

8. PSY – Gangnam Style

‘Gangnam Style’ by PSY gained 8.04 million additional views during week 33 and rose from the tenth to the eighth.

9. BTS – DYNAMITE

BTS’ Dynamite remained in ninth place with additional views of 7.6 million.

10. Golden Child – Ra Pam Pam

Golden Child’s ‘Ra Pam Pam’ gained additional views of 6.94 million during the week. However, it fell from no.2 to no.8.
