The waiting almost ends! KPop singer, IU, shared a teaser photo for her new single, Eight. As announced by the agency, IU’s new single -produced by and featured BTS Suga– is scheduled to be released on May 6.

IU’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, has announced that she would be making a highly-anticipated comeback in May 2020 with a digital single. The agency representative said, “IU will be releasing a digital single on May 6, and she will also be releasing a music video along with her music.

IU’s New Single Has a Different Style

Since its announcement, fans are patiently waiting for the upcoming single. They have talked about it on social media.

Finally, on April 28, IU shared that the title of the digital single would be Eight. IU’s new single marks her comeback since IU’s 2019 EP Love Poem.

The new music video is expected to be different in feeling and style from IU’s previous music. Moreover, the KPop singer personally participated in the production process, including composing the music and lyrics to the final stage for the release, mapping out the overall concept.

EDAM Entertainment also shared another great news that the upcoming song, Eight, is produced and featured BTS Suga. The agency commented that IU and BTS Suga are musicians of the same age and can relate to one another. They added, “They (IU and BTS Suga) created their own unique synergy, which is reflected in their song.”
