Several days before announcing the canceled performance of Megan Thee x BTS “Butter” at the American Music Awards (AMAs) 2021, American rapper and Megan’s good friend, Adolph Robert Thornton Jr, also known as Young Dolph, had been reported killed in a shooting incident. According to Memphis police, the incident happened at a renowned bakery, Makeda’s Homemade Butter Cookies. Also, they were still investigating the motive behind the shooting.
Regardless of whether this incident is the REAL reason behind the canceled performance of Megan Thee x BTS “Butter” at the AMAs 2021, the music industry is currently mourning the death of talented American Rapper, Young Dolph.
