On May 14, EXO leader, Suho, has enlisted himself in the military quietly. He enlisted at the Nonsan Army Training Center in South Chungcheong Province. The other EXO members show their support by sending off Suho to the military training. This has been a ‘tradition’ that EXO members send off to the military training center since Xiumin’s military service on May 7, 2019.
Official Announcement from EXO Suho
On May 4, Suho announced to the public through a handwritten letter to his fans on the Lysn app.
His handwritten letter is translated in English as:
“Hello to our EXO-Ls. This is Suho. I wanted to tell something to everyone today, so I made this post. I’ll be doing my mandatory military service soon on May 14. I think I will really miss our EXO-Ls during that time. Hoping EXO-Ls who think of me and love me every day always to be healthy.
Thank you very much, and I love you. We are one. EXO, Let’s Love.”
Suho Show Affection for EXO and EXO-L
Before leaving for the military training center, Suho posted a photo of EXO’s official stick on his personal Instagram account. He showed affection for both EXO and EXO-L (EXO fandom name) by writing, “WE ARE ONE EXO, Let’s Love.”
EXO Members Shared Photos When They Send Off Suho
On Lysn, EXO shared photos of the other EXO members send off their leader, Suho. In one of the pictures, Chanyeol, Chen, Kai, Baekhyun, and Sehun, put their hands on Suho.
Although Lay was not able to send off Suho to the military training center, he shared one of the photos on his Instagram stories and wrote, “Let’s love. Goodbye, leader.”

EXO Birthday and Future Plan
EXO has just celebrated their 8 years journey in KPop entertainment world this year. Although they are not together, we still can see their achievement since their debut in 2012.
For the future, SM Entertainment plans to focus on solo activities. The closest project is Baekhyun’s second solo album, Delight, which is scheduled to be out on May 25.
