What Caused the Issue and Controversy?
After reigning over the Korean drama ranking for several weeks, “Little Women” Kdrama starring Kim Go Eun had to give up its throne. But instead of declining ratings, the Kdrama had to be removed entirely from Netflix Vietnam roosted due to its distortion of history.
Everything started with “Little Women” Kdrama episodes 3 and 8. In these episodes, a war veteran from South Korea bragged about his kill-to-death ratio during the Vietnam War. First, he boasted about the kill-to-death ratio between the South Korean troops and the Viet Cong (communist army). Then, he claimed that each Korean soldier had the ability to kill between 20 to 100 Vietnamese troops.
And on top of everything, the war veteran also claimed that Korean troops were the heroes of the Vietnam War.
