SPIRE CEO & Manager Allegedly Treated Kpop Group OMEGA X with Abuse
On October 23, fans of Kpop group OMEGA X posted various reports and evidence on Twitter, sharing that SPIRE CEO has been treating the group members with violence and abuse.
First, it started with an alleged recording of SPIRE CEO getting furious at OMEGA X members. But once the video went viral on the internet, more evidence started emerging, showing the kind of abuse OMEGA X members have been receiving from the company.
What Started the Controversy?
4th gen Kpop boy group OMEGA X just held their final 2022 OMEGA X WORLD TOUR [CONNECT: Don’t give up] concert on October 22 local time. Then, not long after the concert completed, various posts about alleged mistreatment and abuse from SPIRE company CEO against OMEGA X members emerged on the next day.
A Twitter post specifically told a story of the company CEO hitting OMEGA X members. The fan witnessed the CEO mistreatment and abuse against OMEGA X then recorded the audio.

My hands were shaking so much I didn’t know what to do. The members were getting hit in front of me, but I couldn’t do anything.”

The video then went viral and it reached various media. The woman’s voice in the recording reportedly belongs to SPIRE CEO Kang Seong Hee. This recording then reached various Korean media, and SBS news also included a transcript of the voice that allegedly belongs to CEO Kang Seong Hee.
MORE Evidence of Abuse and Mistreatment Emerged, Supporting the Controversy
Following the CEO abuse recording against OMEGA X, more cases and evidence appeared in the controversy. According to some fans, it was not the first time SPIRE CEO and company staff mistreated OMEGA X with various abuse.
Fans Getting Yelled by The Same Alleged CEO
Following the abovementioned recording evidence of OMEGA X abuse, fans posted another recording of a female staff yelling at fans who came all the way to LA to watch the Kpop group.
Since the recording contains a female voice similar to the other recording, fans believed it also belonged to OMEGA X company CEO Kang Seong Hee.

Social Media Prohibition and VLIVE Intervention
Next, fans also stated that SPIRE had mistreated OMEGA X many times before. They also mentioned that there was one time they had to put a public online discussion regarding these mistreatments.
In the discussion, fans stated that members of OMEGA X have previously been famous for their active interactions with fans. However, after these members redebuted as OMEGA X with SPIRE company, everything changed.
According to fans, SPIRE company had intervened with the members’ VLIVE 12 times only 10 seconds after it started. Then, the company also stopped all social media uploads from OMEGA X members. As a result, the last time they posted on SNS was at the official fan cafe.

Another Verbal Abuse – with a Witness
These various reports of abuse and controversy brought up another testimony. Earlier this month, someone witnessed a woman yelling at two members of OMEGA X.
While there was no recording or video evidence this time, fans suspected that the woman in question was most likely the same. It was allegedly OMEGA X company CEO Kang Seong Hee.

In addition to the CEO abuse, fans also pointed out that OMEGA X members have been allegedly receiving mistreatment from their manager as well.

SPIRE Company Official Statement About OMEGA X and CEO Controversy
Finally, once the OMEGA X abuse controversy went viral, the company released a brief comment through Celuv Media. According to the statement, SPIRE company is still checking all the facts to confirm the situation.
“We are unable to make contact because they are still in the United States. Therefore, we will make a statement after checking all the facts.”
