The Genie Music Awards 2022 Winners List
On November 8, the annual event of Genie Music Awards in 2022 was held with an offline concept at the Incheon Namdong Gymnasium with an exciting lineup of performers. However, the event was held with a smaller audience than planned due to the recent tragedy in Itaewon. In addition, the ceremony was also held without a red carpet and recorded for broadcast at a later date.
NCT Dream and Lim Young Woong took home this year’s Daesangs (grand prizes). Kpop group NCT Dream won two Daesangs for the Top Artist award and the Top Album award for their second studio album, “Glitch Mode,” which was released on March 28, 2022.
Meanwhile, famous Korean trot singer Lim Young Woong won the Top Music award for his hit song “Our Blue, Our Life.” Furthermore, the singer also took home the Male Solo Artist award and the Genie Music Popularity award.
