How BTS and ARMY Celebrate Jin’s LAST Birthday before His Military Enlistment
Last year, thanks to Permission to Dance on Stage concerts, ARMY could celebrate Jin’s birthday in person. So, they created moon-shaped covers for their ARMY bombs. And as a birthday gift to ARMY, Jin released “Super Tuna.”
However, this year’s birthday holds a somber tone as Jin will begin his mandatory military service this month. It has been confirmed that Jin enlists on December 13 at the recruit center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi-do.
How BTS Jin Celebrates His Birthday This Year
BTS j-hope posted an unseen photo of the Worldwide Handsome to his Instagram story and added Jin’s latest solo track, “The Astronaut,” to it.
During the 2022 MAMA Awards, j-hope made a phone call to Jin when he received awards as the group’s representative on stage. BTS oldest member then said over the phone, “Our ARMYs, thank you so so much, and I love you. And our members, you’ve always worked hard. Our members, I love you so so much too.”

Jin’s Birthday Broadcast
As expected, Jin’s birthday broadcast was chaotic from the beginning. Before getting to the real celebration, Jin shared his ‘sadness’ that Jungkook couldn’t come to visit him on his birthday broadcast, just like what he did to ‘ruin’ the maknae’s broadcast.
Everything went well during the broadcast until came the time for Jin to cut the adorable RJ cake in the most surprising way!
ARMY created Jin’s Special Birthday Streaming Goals
As a special gift to the Worldwide Handsome, ARMY created streaming goals, including 216 million Spotify plays on “Epiphany” and 165 million Spotify plays for “Moon.” Besides Spotify plays, ARMY also created some goals on other platforms, such as Soundcloud and YouTube. Some of the goals have been achieved even a week before the birthday.
Not only that, but some ARMY also created a special Jin Day playlist that includes all of Jin’s solo works. Some playlists are “Road to Jin Day All Solo Jin,” with 96 songs for 6 hours, and “JIN Day,” with 40 songs for 2 hours and 48 minutes.
Jin’s Birthday Billboards and LED Projects
Similar to other BTS members’ birthdays, the “Astronaut” singer also received celebration billboards in major cities all over the world.

Charity Birthday Project – it’s a must!
As BTS is also known as a kind-hearted Kpop boy group, ARMY are also thoughtful in spending their money on BTS members’ birthdays. To celebrate Jin’s last birthday before his military enlistment, ARMY held charity projects like in previous years.
