After years of waiting, the time for Jisoo solo debut is finally here! Following Jennie (Solo), Rosé (-R-), and Lisa (LALISA), Jisoo will be the final BLACKPINK member to make her solo debut in 2023.

BLINKs have been super patient waiting for Jisoo to release her solo debut. Finally, good news came at the end of 2022 when Jisoo wrote on Weverse, “Please wait for Jisoo’s solo album in 2023.”
YG Entertainment Confirmed: Jisoo Solo Debut in 2023
On January 20, the agency confirmed Jisoo solo debut rumor. YG Entertainment revealed that BLACKPINK Jisoo is preparing her solo debut in 2023.
According to the announcement, Jisoo is working hard to record her solo album. Despite the busy world tour schedule since 2022, Jisoo has wrapped up the album jacket photo shoot.
“She [Jisoo] will greet [fans] soon with good news.”

Although Jisoo official solo debut is still in progress, the singer has performed several covers of her own. The most recent performance of Jisoo during the BLACKPINK world tour covering Liar even earned praise from the original singer, Camila Cabelo.

Happy Birthday, Jisoo!
News of Jisoo solo debut came days before the singer’s birthday on January 3. As a gift to her fans, JIsoo created her own YouTube channel. The first video she shared is a LONDON vlog, where fans can follow her days in London, from working out to strolling around London with Lisa.
