Kim Seon Ho is all set to return to the acting industry, as well as debut on the big screen with The Childe (originally titled Sad Tropics). Therefore, The Childe has piqued much interest from Seonhohada (Kim Seon Ho’s fandom). On April 17, a film poster was dropped, giving everyone a glimpse of the mysterious yet powerful aura of the actor’s character.
Kim Seon Ho Will Mess Up with Kang Tae Joo’s Life in THE CHILDE
The Childe follows the thrilling story of Marco (Kang Tae Joo), whose dream is to be a boxer. However, he encounters terrible villains along the way. Marco wanders around illegal stadiums in the Philippines and meets different people with different goals. One day, a mysterious man, who goes by The Childe (Kim Seon Ho), comes to him with his specific purpose that will turn Marco’s life upside down.
The film is directed by Park Hoon Jung, known for his intriguing works such as New World, Night In Paradise, and The Witch series.
The Childe draws attention because it marks the screen debut of Kim Seon Ho, who has received lots of love for his acting in Korean dramas and theater performances. Meanwhile, starring alongside Kim Seon Ho and Kang Tae Joo in The Childe are actors Kim Kang Woo and Go Ara.
THE CHILDE Intriguing Poster
The eye-catching poster shows a suited-up shadowy figure of the actor, whistling with his back to the camera and eyes set on an invisible target. With hands placed in the pockets of his trousers, he gives a mysterious yet powerful aura. It seems Kim Seon Ho’s character will be quite villainous, showcasing a completely different charm.
Additionally, the poster also confirms The Childe release date, which will be in June 2023.
