BLACKPINK Jisoo Secures No. 1 Position in June 2023 KPop Girl Group Member Brand Reputation Rankings

From May 18 to June 18, 2023, the Korean Business Research Institute collected data from 635 K-pop female group members, resulting in a total of 119,856,004 data points. Notably, this represents a 19.06 percent increase compared to the 100,664,875 data points collected in May.

Moreover, the institute used this dataset to analyze various factors such as brand participation, media coverage, communication, and community indexes to determine the popularity rankings for female group members in June 2023.

According to the result, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, NewJeans Danielle, aespa’s Karina, and Girl’s Generation Taeyeon claimed the top five positions in the June 2023 most popular Kpop girl group member rankings.

Top 5 Popular Female Group Members

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo claimed the top spot in the June 2023 K-pop girl group brand reputation rankings, with a brand value of 4,973,710. Her brand value increased by 6.41 percent compared to 4,674,010 in May. The link analysis revealed that “lovable,” “elegant,” and “diagnosed” were among the top-ranking related terms associated with the singer.

In June 2023, BLACKPINK’s Jisoo secured the top spot in the K-pop girl group brand reputation rankings with a brand value 4,973,710. This represents a slight increase of 6.41 percent compared to her brand value of 4,674,010 in May.

Moreover, in the keyword analysis, “FLOWER,” “photo shoot,” and “ambassador” were identified as the top-ranking words associated with BLACKPINK’s Jisoo. Furthermore, her positivity-negativity analysis showed a positive rate of 85.97 percent.

Next, BLACKPINK’s Jennie skyrocketed to the second position with a brand value of 4,611,552. Her brand value experienced an astonishing 113 percent increase compared to her brand value of 2,155,735 in May.

Moreover, NewJeans’ Danielle soared to the third place with a brand value of 3,530,278. Her brand value increased significantly by 93.54 percent compared to 1,824,088 in May.

On the other hand, aespa’s Karina dropped to the fourth place this month. Despite the drop, her brand value still rose by 23.78 percent from 2,736,083 in May to 3,386,786 in June.

Completing the top five list for this month, Girl Generation’s Taeyeon secured the fifth place with a brand value of 3,161,107. However, her brand value experienced a decline of 25.69 percent, dropping from 4,254,226 in May to 3,161,107 in June 2023.
